A Cautionary Tale for Overseas Buyers
My girlfriend and I were excited about purchasing a Citroen HY Van from Letube Station, but we wanted to ensure we made an informed decision. While many of the reviews were positive, we were particularly interested in hearing from buyers who were not local to Letube Station. After reaching out to several such buyers, one person was connected to us as we are also local to a similar area of the United States.
Coming from America with plans to start a business utilizing these vehicles, it was crucial for us to witness firsthand the quality of Letube Station's products. Regrettably, our experience was far from satisfactory. We observed one exceptional vehicle that had been delivered to Southern California. However, when the same customer ordered a second vehicle and showed it to us, the disparity was glaring. The vehicle's condition was drastically different, requiring significant repairs to the bodywork, engine, and brakes, necessitating additional local expenditures.
In essence, it appeared to be a classic bait-and-switch scenario. Witnessing it firsthand, along with the accompanying receipts, solidified our decision to refrain from purchasing from Letube Station. We urge caution to anyone considering buying a vehicle or wiring a deposit from overseas without personally inspecting the vehicle beforehand. Our gratitude for avoiding a potential ordeal serves as a warning to others in a similar position.
