I received a letter telling me I had to prove my no claims bonus with the threat that if I didn't I could get charged more insurance, well I phoned them up to explain that I had insurance with them last year so that meant they held my details to prove my no claims, obviously they hadn't checked there records. Very unprofessional. Next day I had an email saying it's all sorted, but no apology.

Change of motorcycle meant Change of details. Crazy difference in price with the insurer for the piega to the kawasaki. Way cheaper quotes were available on your own website. Had to cancel previous insurance and take out new insurance on new bike. The cancellation charge is a bit steep but still worked out several hundred pounds cheaper for new quote
My father paid for the insurance in one full payment to save the crazy interest rates. Still much better value than any other company.

Really like lexham. Great stuff who explain and helpfull thought the process. Got modification on bike and was no problem to insure. Also think price was fair. Highly recommended.

Worst administration department in the world. Find a different insurance company if you can

Absolutely awful experience with them, they provide me 2 different quoting price with the same quote policy reference number over the phone and retrieving by email, and one different one on the following day in exactly same reference number. I was feeling I am getting scammed.
Not recommended at all.

They don’t even bother to update you after job interviews.

Worst company EVER for insurance.
I had a vehicle stolen in 2025, and they threw the claim out straight away, with no grounds. The vehicle was then recovered by police, and i had to pay a release fee (i still haven’t been reimbursed for this)…
They then reinstated the claim after i asked for the call recording, and 6 months later we are NO FURTHER FORWARD.
They palm you off onto Marble arch, and then don’t give you any updates, you chase them and they tell you they are “waiting for the police report”
Utter rubbish company. Please do not insure your vehicle with Lexham

Review part 2: writing this on 23/03/2026
My husband's motorcycle, LC71 TWV, was recovered by the police but it was completely damaged, so we were not going to get anything through the claim, So we just gave in scrap and requested cancellation. When I called them on the 7th of March they said that if you cancel the insurance you need to pay 17 pounds because of some repayment to their own sister finance company. Today when I called them they were telling me you need to pay 97 pounds if you cancel the policy. They are just ripping off money from the people. Never ever buy this policy. Completely useless policy. Our vehicles market value is £1500 to £1700 but they done the valuation of £1100 and £550 access. No from any point of view it was a loss for us. And they keep people on hold every time 30 to 45 mins.

I was involved in an accident that wasn’t my fault, but my insurance company which is exam did not support or defend me as I believe they should have. On top of that, they have increased my premium this year, which I find unfair given the circumstances.
