Call was answered timely and handled and resolved matter quickly. The process has to repair our replace had been ongoing for 3 weeks now, so it's nice to hopefully be closer to a resolution. The rep was both professional and helpful, which was appreciated.

Very nice. Cool, calm and collected on a very busy day. English was very clear. She spoke loudly and at a good speed to where she was easy to understand.
Claim was collected efficiently and she answered all my questions. She did an excellent job.

They do not even deserve one star. Two claims, two minimum reimbursements.
They claimed that purely mechanical issues were electrical. Their own technician was a jerk. Brought the wrong parts and made the problem worse. Then said it would be another 4 -5 weeks to get the correct parts. And we had to pay for that! Could not be without a major appliance for two months. Bought a new one and they refused to pay for it. Almost the same thing on another appliance. They told us if we repaired it instead of buying a new one they would reimburse us. They lied! DO NOT USE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Got two minimum reimbursements. Did not even cover the technician costs. Let alone the actual costs for the appliances or the parts.

Lucas was very patient and diligent in furthering our claim resolution.

The are CHEAP! All they care about is not spending money. I had a simple washer repair- and they refused to pay for service call. Only paid for part which was only a little overly co-pay. Ive had other experiences with them showing e they only care about spending as little as possible. Also- technician ws on hold for an hour waiting for approval. Wasting his time anemone.

I just used my warranty for the first time and this was the worst experience I've had. First, I paid more for my policy so I could use whomever I wanted when the time came that something did happen.
On Friday, early evening I noticed my AC wasn't working. I started a claim on the app and when noone was assigned I decided I'd call early Saturday to see how the process worked to use someone we choose.
They said we just have to get the work approved before they do any work and then gave me a phone number to call for approval.
Here is the first problem... you are on the phone forever!!! I was one the phone for over 2 almost 3 hours waiting on approval. The poor technicians were stuck here waiting for them to approve it that whole time. That is horrible customer service. Hire more staff if you are that busy. 2nd problem:
I had already paid the $125 fee they charge up-front when you call to have a warranty service done and then they tell me they are not going to pay for the service charge so I need to pay for that and oh, by the way they only pay for one labor fee of upto $150 for the entire year. So if you have anything else go wrong in your house that has a labor fee, good luck; you are paying the bill for that too. When I was sold my policy I was told all I would have to pay is $125 each time I used my warranty and the rest would be covered. This is so not what I signed up for. I will be canceling my policy and finding something else. I am beyond frustrated with this company. Do not buy a policy from them. They tout to be #1, but customer satisfaction is not a concern of their's. They sell you one thing and when you go to use it, there are other fees. Let's not forget the wait times. Wow!! Just say no thank you and run now!!!
Update
I filed my claim and they have been waiting to be reimbursed. They had emailed and asked for my address stating they needed it to process the claim. ( I sent it, even though I was thinking you ask me for my address as a confirmation; every time I call, but okay) I called again on Monday because in the app it shows they still haven't processed my claim. When I call I am on hold forever again and am told they need my address. I explained I already emailed that. I am put on hold multiple times again and eventually disconnected. I called back was put on hold multiple times for 20 over minutes. I finally said why are you putting me on hold. You have my email. You should be able to process my refund. He explained he was trying to get ahold of the senior account manager that had tried getting ahold of me. (I had also previously tried returning his calls but got tired of the ridiculously long wait times and gave up.) By this time I was very upset and I said so basically you are holding my check hostage until I talk with your account manager?? Because you already have my address and you are not cutting my check. This is clearly unethical! I said I will be updating my review and reporting to the Better Business Bureau. They clearly do not care about their customers! BEWARE
IF YOU HAVE A GOOD HOME WARRANTY! PLEASE SHARE!

I was a customer for almost 3 yrs with a policy on my rental property, then I added my primary residence a little over a year ago. Problems started when I thought I was extending coverage on my rental, only to learn that wasn't the case, it was just added stuff that I didn't require. Canceled that added policy a couple days after I realized it was a scam. Shortly after that, had a claim for my dishwasher in my primary residence and they wanted to replace my BOSCH dishwasher with a GE. When I learned that's how they roll (not replacing with same brand), I decided to cancel my home primary home policy and my rental policy. Since I've canceled have been completely jerked around on my refund. First they said it would be refunded to the card on file, then when I called today, I'm told a check was issues and it would take 15-30 days. BUYER BEWARE

The support person was very hard to understand, with a thick accent and speaking too quickly. He did provide some information on the status of my claim, but seemed uninterested in truly helping me to get this claim resolved. This seems to be the norm now at LHG, they've gone downhill since my last claim; despite supposedly expediting things and my constant pleas to move things along, nothing seems to happen. This claim is for a washer repair, which should be an incredibly fast thing to resolve.
Go elsewhere for your needs of this nature.
Update 8/7/26: The washer is still not fixed. A part was ordered and I received it fairly quickly, but the original technician required a few days to show up. When he did show up, he reported that one of the two parts was not the right one. That was on 8/5/26. In order to receive the correct part, I have to return the incorrect one. I received and email yesterday stating that an attached PDF file had the return label, but there was nothing attached. Today, I worked with LHG to send the correct return label. I received a PDF file stating what my RMA number was and where to send it, but it looked like no prepaid return label I've ever seen. I called yet again to LHG, waiting yet another 15 minutes to speak to someone, and the agent said this was the return label. I don't believe him, because the PDF file shows some buttons saying "Print RMA" and "Print Return Label"... There is also no indication of which carrier to use. The agent said to use any carrier, but at this point, I just don't believe that. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one was not available. I pressed the agent to put me in a queue to speak to a supervisor. The last supervisor contacted me over 3 hours after I requested one, so we'll see how long that takes.
At this point, I've spent $70 for the claim, $285 for the labor to fix the washer, and $170 for four trips to the laundromat to clean clothes for a house of 7 people, including 2 children. This is pretty much the price of a new washer, which I could have bought and had installed within days of the when I made the claim (15 JULY).
Update 8/18/26: The claim has finally been completed.
On 8/11/26, a senior manager named Ali Shah contacted me to say he was taking over this claim through completion. In a related email, he said he was a "Direct Point of Contact."
When I received the correct part on 8/13/26, I attempted to contact Mr. Shah at the number given in his email. I wound up with an agent who basically said it would be more trouble than it's worth to put in a request to speak with Mr. Shah, and to just put my request in with the agent directly (my request being to notify LHG that I had received the part and to ask for expediting the scheduling of the technician to come make the repair. After speaking with the agent, I followed up with an email to s***e at l***d.com (the email specified in Mr. Shah's email to me) with essentially the same request. I included the claim number and "for Ali Shah" to hopefully route my email to him.
To Mr. Shah's credit, he responded to my email in about 10 minutes, confirming they were working on technician availability. Perhaps due to his involvement, the technician showed up on 8/14/26 and made the repair. (Funny note: he was scheduled for 4-8pm on that Friday, but called and asked if the basket was still full of water. I said it was, I was told that if *I* emptied the basket, he could be there within the hour...! It would have been nice to have been told to empty the basket weeks ago, before the water had turned really bad).
So, while I very much appreciate Mr. Shah jumping in to, as he said, fight hard to resolve my claim, that was too little, too late. I'm sure that from LHG's perspective, their process was working fine, albeit with a few "glitches" (wrong part delivered, multiple screwups sending me a return label). They measure their performance with business-days, but a customer measures performance on elapsed time, including weekends.
Mr. Shah said he worked hard to obtain a waiving of the next claim's fee, which I appreciate. I asked for a refund of some money I spent out of pocket for a laundromat (again, due to *LHG's* mistakes and delays) but apparently that is not allowed per LHG policy.
It just seems that if the CUSTOMER doesn't spend an inordinate amount of time calling/emailing LHG, monitoring for correct responses, and asking for things to be expedited, then the claim will slowly make its way through their process.
To recap: almost 4 weeks for a washing machine repair, multiple mistakes and outright incompetence by LHG in dealing with this claim, and enough money spent by me for this repair that I could have almost bought and installed a new machine.
Mr. Shah's involvement is worth 1 star. Again, too little, too late.
LHG has definitely degraded since my last claim.

While the customer service rep, Luis Pena, was helpful, knowledgable and friendly; This company is incredibly dificult to work with. Liberty Home Guard has one of the most annoying phone trees possible. Liberty home Guard, is SLOW to respond, SLOW to make a decision and has so many layers of steps before actual resolution that I could die before they pay any money out or fix a problem that requires replacement of equipment.
