my friend cris recently stole some chez from lidl and the security did not do anything even though he did it in plain sight. he also entered with a knife in his pocket even after being searched by security who just laughed it off. after this he broke all the cameras and stol the chez. thats all adrian out datebayo!
Gone downhill steadily . I stopped buying from Lidl when I found a foreign body in their top priced beef mince £7 for 500 grams. Found my self chewing on bones see attachment. Fish or fowl definitely not beef.
Little response from Lidl .
I like Lidl, they seemed to have reorganised fairly recently and have a more logical system now so I can actually find things in the shop.
Just to warn people not to buy the stupid toaster I got last week. I've had to change to a cheap, nasty bread brand to try to get it to fit in the toaster, but half the bread remains poking out of the top uncooked. Am I meant to cut the bread in half to be able to have an entire slice cooked evenly? At the moment the only thing I can think to do is flip the bread after it's popped and cooked for another 15 seconds and manually pop it again before the middle burns but the edges are crispy - ish. Leaving to an we extremely unsatisfying breakfast. I'm going back to my porridge. You'd think the person designing the toaster *might* have looked at bread before committing to the final design...
I bought lemons, I buy them for health reasons, as probably most people do.
On cutting them open they were brown inside, which means they have oxidised, which is very bad for health Which probably means they were old.
I looked for a use by date but couldn't find one.
Sorry, won't be buying them again. Will go elsewhere.
N.B they were South African.
Noticed today lidl Naas Lane Gloucester several driving schools teaching space parking on the in use car park despite the notice for Customer parking only ,so what are the parking monitoring company doing about it and who has liability if an untested driver damages a legitimate customer vehicle? Who pays,? Check the store car park video.
Personally I have only rated this as 1 star as I had to If you are thinking of lidl as a good place to work, please don't. They will pay well until your face doesn,t fit then they will sack you, just like they did my son. He worked their for 20 years working his way up from deputy manager to an area manager, where up to 6 months ago was at the top of his game, until someone decided to bring in new young blood, anyone with a voice was surplus to requirements, where cleaning litter out of the trolley bays, took precedence over queues at tills. Please don't give them the satisfaction, this company is a disgrace and anyone wanting a decent job should give it a wide berth.
Do not work for this company and if you do, do not give notice period more than a week before as they will scam you with your pay and will not give any proper answer apart from telling you the pay is correct.

Weeel, there seems to have been an improvement in their vegetable offerings. Recently we have not encountered any issues. We also had a 10% discount on all our purchases, which makes a difference
Just bought a Tower window Vac to replace the K:Archer, which didn't last very long. It was only £20:00, compared to K'Archer which I think is now £60;00 plus, and the only apparent difference to the K'Archer is that it doesn't have a sponge. It also has a THREEE YEAR WARRANTY. But, the product has to be registered, which is not mentioned on the box, so, at point of sale you would not be aware....you have to read the enclosed leaflet. Apart from the checkouts being disgracefully undermanned, no real worries. This is Lidl in Totton, Southampton
I used to do shoping pay and leave the store. But now I check the prices and check again when paying, because you pay more than the prices displayed near the product. It's not honest and it's not mistake because it happen all the time. When you complain they will tell you oh sorry we didn't put the new price because price changed.but if the price change from cheaper to more expensive they will not forget. Most of people doesn't check so you are paying more than the real price. For me it's Robery. Now I check always but even like that it's lost of time in till. To make money be honest because when u are honest people trust you and stay your customers. Erdington Lidl

I bought meals from Lidl on 2 separate occasions and although I didn't link them, both meals made me sick, 2nd time, I was really ill and in a lot of pain, I've still got an un-opened meal in the freezer, they really couldn't careless, loosing 3 days of my time, plus pain plus staring down my loo for ages, what do they do..... didn't collect the dodgy meal for testing, I had to write a detailed report of what and when, receipt and packet scans, they sent me a £20 voucher they're taking the p@@S, I should have spoken to my solicitor, it's free on my house insurance. Avoid 'Chef Select, sweet and Sour Chicken from Lidl' they don't value there customer more than a £20 voucher. 104590375. UPDATE: I was asked to contact customer services, sadly one hand doesn't know what the other is doing, a further waste of time...

Visited Lidl Beulah Hill, London today at 10.35am. The signage for Sunday is quite clear. Opening for Sunday 11am. Doors open 30 mins earlier for browsing. Then a second signage says
"A head start to your Sunday our doors open 30 mins early".... Seems quite clear does not say sometimes this happens or could change at a whim. The doors opened at 11am with a crowd of people who came earlier. When I said to one member of staff, his remarks were the time to open is 11am. Another turned round and said I work here and we open at 11am. They obviously do not look at their own signage and one staff attitude was he knows better than me. Well he should but obviously he did not.

I can't believe that the booze Lidl is MORE EXPENSIVE than the booze in a metro Tesco. Also french grain vodka 30% more expensive than last year. Greed!

My trust in this company is now zero.
After their pointless and ridiculous lawsuit against Tesco, I will no longer be shopping at Lidl.
I regularly use and love Tesco Clubcard and have no plans to use Lidl plus.
Goodbye.
