The Bletchley store in Milton Keynes where do I start firstly no trolleys outside what so ever outside, no baskets by the door when you walk in there is only ever 1 till open the self serve is card only, the staff ain't very bright, the managers well how they got a job there is beyond me, I've tried multiple times to apply there even with over 30 years Experience in retail I keep getting turned down, a few months ago my little sister went in one night to get a few bits which wasn't in stock and she left before she could the security guard demanded to look in her bag which she said no cause she didn't steal anything but she did and was humiliated and she will now no longer go there and it was her favourite place
I have been a customer of this store for several years, and until recently getting through a check out has not been a problem for him, even with Limited Mobility having a Blue Badge.
The introduction of Self Service Tills as resulted in less staffed once being open, meaning that at times there can be 6+ people waiting in the line ahead of you, what is a problem if you have a physical disability and you can not stand for long periods of time.
It is also very intimidating when staff are staring at you shouting "if your paying by card use the Self Service". Even if I was able to use them, I would not as often the member of staff will go off doing other things, so if your buying an age restricted product your then hanging around waiting for them to return, making manned tills the better option.
The 'girl' on the till managed to serve me without a single word being spoken! So rude, she didnt even tell me how much to pay.. time visited 19.37 it wasn't even busy. Not sure I'd want someone like that working for me!!
Always big que and unprofessional customers.

on Lidl plus but what does that mean . In to the store choose wine, pay at the till cashier asks do you have Lidl plus, I dont even know what it is, but a person does help,, I ask if I get the 30 % yes he says all deducted, when I pay and load the car and check the bill again, No discount applies, I ask the store manager he tells me the deal is only on selected wine, but the cashier told me that it had been deducted, sorry he says, that is it so beware
Complain to Lidl, not interested they say tough !
Result go to another supplier like Tesco who state 25% of all wine not tiny cant read print selected, you have been warned

Security guard accused me of stealing because I left without buying anything. He was disrespectful and rude. I’m not the only one this has happened to, and I won’t tolerate the harassment. I’ve had other bad customer service experiences here and will not return. Complaining to Lidl customer services achieved NOTHING as others have since left reviews describing the same. The fact that you are allowing people to be treated like this says everything I need to know.

We have recently experienced something unexpected, and to be honest, not compliance with the standard how most of the supermarkets sell their edible products. This was not the first time that we bought rotten fruits from Lidl which they often sell on offer/discount. Four days ago I bought a pack of plum at £1.89 which had many of them half or partially rotten. I don’t really understand the principle of putting inferior food products on offer or discount, unlike, non-edible products where consumers generally don’t have to worry about their health. Making profit out of everything doesn’t seem alright to me. There should be strict quality check before any products put on shelves for consumers and the managers or the responsible staff should decide with their honest mind which product they should keep and which they would discard. Since Lidl has lost their trust (my opinion), we do our most shopping now from elsewhere. Trust me, one of the main reasons that we still visit Lidl (Bletchley, Milton Keynes) is because of a very lovely sales assistant Sarah. Her behaviour, service holds us back to the shop despite of many issues.
