Customers deserve better service
On reading some of the reviews on TrustPilot, I wonder if Lidl cares at all about the poor experience most customers seem to have. My experience with products I have purchased at the Worthing stores has been poor also. A lollo rosso lettuce in a plastic bag was particularly disappointing. On trying to use it, I found there was a large chunk of muddy soil around the root. It also tasted bad. Some weeks ago I purchased a bottle of olive oil labelled as Premium priced £6.75. On opening the oil which had a cork topper but was secured with a plastic protection, I found the oil to taste terrible, rancid, bitter and unusable. Using a cashier checkout is hazardous. They scan the goods so fast, it almost gets thrown at you. You’re hardly given a minute to find your payment method. Do better Lidl.
