Car Parking Near Romford Station

I was shopping in Lidl on 13th January, overstayed my 90-minute time limit and received a parking fine. The checkouts were unmanned that day, and only 1 person assisted with the self-scan check-out machines. After waiting about 10 minutes, I stood in the assistant's way as she seemed to be ignoring me. Eventually, she came to reset the machine. With so much shopping, it was very difficult to balance it all on the check-out scales, so I had to take off some shopping and call her over twice more. This is what caused the delay.
I went back to Lidl to speak to the manager on 26th January, and found her most unhelpful. She was adamant that the car park had nothing to do with Lidl and that it was managed by Parking Eye.
So my advice to you all is not to spend more than a few pounds in Lidl Romford in case you have the same problem.
I contacted Lidl customer services online, and they emailed back to say that they cancelled the PCN.

Customer services is awful.this lady…

Customer services is awful.this lady working in this shop she was at self checkout service around 10am. There was elderly couple with trolley fullbof shopping wait for the till to open but none of the till were open so they start walking towards self checkout waiting in the queue i asked the lady why there's no till open she was so rude saying there's no need to i told her there's elderly people and sometimes its very difficult for them to scan by themselves.she said that's why im here to help fair enough i said .i scan my shopping at i was leaving she send the same couple back to the dill saying go to till no 2 i said to her when i said they need a till open you said you gona help them now u sending them back to the till she yeah you don't have to tell me what to do that was so rude with that st...d face dar circle under her eyes get some sleep.i spoke to her manager the manager was so helpless herself and she was talking so rude even infron of her manager. Very disappointed they have no manners how to talk to someone if you can't do the job give ot to someone deservable.

After waiting in the queue for the…

After waiting in the queue for the manned till for 10 minutes, we were told there's another till opening as the Computer had stopped scanning items. When we asked what's going on? No apology just told its not our fault its the Compiter, just like yours at home they go wrong!! I get that BUT no apology for our inconvenience ! Prices are ok but the staff are rude and don't care about the customer. I will be going in there again as its so close to where I live. LIDL need to retrain their staff to be a bit more polite to the customer! After all its the public that keep you open. RUDE STAFF

Disappointed customer service

I was going yesterday Romford station lidl around 2 to 3 pm with my special need boy, my son wants to drink water so I picked up a bottle of water and going self check out, my boy was crying for water,I was scanning but check out need assistance so I call the lady staff who was working for self check out customer but she was not helpful she ignored me and one moment she came my check out 2 seconds press one button and going again other place ,still l was struggling for payment my water and my son was crying and crying It was a horrible situation but still she is not coming for help then I was bit upset and started to saying I need help loudly then she was came and after that my payment was gone threw. It was so frustrating l never been facing this kind of customer service. I so disappointed.
