I was overcharged at the self checkout…

I was overcharged at the self checkout machine. The total bill seemed too much for the items I bought. When I went through the list it did seem as if all the items were accounted for. On closer inspection it appeared that I was charged for 2 items twice. I thought I would pay the amount asked for and rectify it later. There was a long queue and the Assistant was dealing with other customers. Lidl have sent me a voucher covering just over half the amount they overcharged me by, by way of rectifying this! I have e mailed them back, no response. I have tried to call on 0203 966 5566, to be met with "there is no one to take your call"!! I have tried using their contact form but have been barred from submitting it even though all mandatory fields were completed. Shockingly bad service. Perhaps they approve of theft. Thieving from the customer that is.

Absolutely disgusted with lidl Rock…

Absolutely disgusted with lidl Rock Ferry. Did a shop for my daughter who is stuck at home with poorly child. I also did a shop for myself. I got two bags. Put my daughters through the self serve checkout and filled up the bag. I didn't want to charge my daughter for a bag and was going to pay for two bags on my checkout. So I filled my bag and before I could enter how many bags I had the woman looking after the self serve leaned over me and entered 2 bags stating to me that is what I had. I told her I knew what to do and didn't need her help. From my perspective she was implying I was about to steal 2 bags. Now had I not entered any bags on checkout that would be fair enough. But to not be even given the chance shows what they think of their customers. Must start shopping somewhere else.
