LIDL CHESTERFIELD ROAD. I do like this shop but what puts me off shopping there all the time is the permanent Big issue seller outside waiting for you at the entance, if your lucky she will be on the phone otherwise she will confront you stating big issue and holding her hand out with a look of sheer desperation on her face. I like shopping at lidl but this I find intimidating and embarassing so avoid shopping there full time.

Went to Lidl in heeley Sheffield, went to queue up only to find that the till would be closing when it go to me, so got in a longer queue then saw the store manager tell the till operator that he had to keep his till opened, I was not even given the courtesy of being allowed to be the first to be served in the original queue. Will be going elsewhere from now on.

The staff are fantastic – friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Sure, it can get a bit busy sometimes, but that's a testament to how popular they are. The staff handle it brilliantly, though, and they clearly work incredibly hard. The store is very clean, tidy and if you shop at cirtain times of the day , it's certainly is full of fresh produce that's always fresh.

It's evident there's strong leadership from the top. Managers are always visible on the shop floor, happy to answer questions and address any concerns. Its definitely the best in Sheffield when it comes to both staff and management. Highly impressed!
