Disgusting baskets and Lidl are complacent and are getting expensive

Lidl are starting to lose their edge in my opinion and their quality has dropped. I purchased a 19.99 hose reel (it was something I'd been looking for) on 24th April. By 26th the stand had sheared off the plastic moulding, it had been used once. When assembling it, it mostly clicks and locks into place, making disassembly impossible. I needed to return it. Guy on the till asks, where was the box? It wouldn't fit back in the box. Why isn't it disassembled? It won't come apart i have tried. Obstructive and unhelpful guy on the till. So I said give it back and I'll go get the box. He then got a supervisor who authorised the refund. Said nothing else to me. Did the refund and handed me the receipt. He couldn't have looked more unhappy to serve me if he tried. If this is the way they treat customer's, with distain, then they'll shop elsewhere. Make better products in the first place (they used too) then people wouldn't have to return them. Unpleasant experience altogether. Why too are the Lidl shopping baskets so disgusting. Dried stains nasty handles filthy bases with all sorts in the bottom. I know they cant control what their customers do but they need to keep on top of it. It makes me shiver when I see them stacked up and ive taken to using anti bac wipes and hand sanitiser both before and after using them. Lidl need to check out their reviews.

Lidl lies about their Free Bags

Lidl lies about their Free Bags. They charge 1p. Many British people may not think of 1p as splitting sky but for compliance Lidl must WRITE clear info on the bag as it's NOT FREE anymore! I have my receipt as I was asked to pay 1p via card after completing the purchase and wanted to exchange the bag as per the printed details on the bag. The worst is their self-service tills as these do not take cash but still ask for selection i.e. cash or card.

Beware of rude security guard at Lidl’s…

Beware of rude security guard at Lidl’s in Francis street luton. Shocking the way she makes customers feel like criminals. I asked her question why its beeping she answer me that if the bill is over £9.99 it will beep and i know she was lying as stored almost everyday and the bill almost over than £9.99. She was rude and unacceptable behaviour. I will not be shopping at that store where we pay money for unacceptable behaviour.
