TID ****5221 I just want to say the cashier was so friendly and really nice, great service, he is a great asset to your store as im sorry to say most of the staff on the tills are pleasent but some dont even smile, but this guy was really nice and friendly
I don't do shopping apps
Been a monthly returning customer for about 15+ years. Recently saw the app being introduced and being asked every time at the till, prices going up but only going down pennies if you have the app. My phone does not do apps, and buying a phone that does it would be an expense to save pennies.
I usually do a £100 shop at a time, so when I go to LIDL it's a £100. Just done my Christmas shopping for another £100, reduced to just £62 at the till - veg were all discounted to 15p a bag of each so saved a fortune on that. No app involved, just tapping that Tesco card. That's a 38% discount, and working the maths just on the Christmas dinner stuff, that was an astonishing 89% discount. I won't be back until you do a card and pricing that meets expectations created by shopping experiences in other places.
(echoing the comment below, I confirm your fruit and veg perishes a lot quicker than before, in particular onions)

Chicken bone
I made a curry with the large pack of chicken mini fillets, and as I went to taste the chicken curry from the pan to see if it was cooked I felt a bone in my mouth and I pulled out a half of a wish bone. I checked some more and found small bits of bone.
I am normally ok with Lidl but this could of been dangerous. Hopefully you will check the products who you buy from

Lidl's standards falling -faulty product, poor service
Cooling pack fell apart on 1st use and spilled its contents all over my food!
Returning to the store at 6.30pm, only one staff on the floor tyring to operate a till, respond to customers with problems on self-checkout, and my return. And he clearly had not been trained
First, he tells me 'No refund without receipt' then he tells me self-service will give cash-back when they don't!
The manager when he arrived, clearly did not want to know. I've met that person before when he took my basket before I had finished with it and was quite rude when I asked for it back. He seemed someone who thought the job beneath his dignity
Sad!
