I will no longer be shopping at Lidl now they’re selling Halal. This kind of animal cruelty should be banned. I’m utterly disgusted.

Lidl Chellaston - The Most Unhelpful Waste of Space
I visited Lidl Chellaston and went to pay for my items. The self service checkout said “invalid” when making payment with contactless, sadly I didn’t know my pin. Totally my fault. So I left without my items. However I had been charged for my items. I returned to store to explain and showed the assistant the man who was on the checkouts at the time of the “invalid” payment, but he and the other assistant were so unhelpful and dismissed me saying I had to contact customer service. Surely they could have just issued a refund? Terrible service and I’m now money down with no proof.
