I bought a VAX carpet cleaner in April…
I bought a VAX carpet cleaner in April 24 which stopped after the 1st use in September.
The store would not refund as I had no receipt but I wasn't initially given one (as is their new practice) and was told to email customer service as they need to write me a letter to hand in store.
I emailed as directed to explain the problem and was asked for the bar code of the product, price I paid, date I purchased and my personal details which I supplied. Then nothing! I repeated the process, again I was asked all the same details. No reply.
I've contacted again and again asking for an update
Six emails later all asking for the same information, I am now about to report to Trading Standards as I have had emails from 5 different women, all asking for the same information but doing nothing about it.
Contact us on Whatsapp they state, again nothing!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING BUT GROCERIES FROM LIDL, THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
