I have been a loyal customer for a few years now, but an incident with an employee on Sunday at the bristol Longwell Green branch has left me reeling:( I took my shopping to the self service check-out as always and scanned my goods, packed them and left as usual. As I was leaving the employee on the checkouts ran after me and asked to see my receipt and said that she hadn't seen me scan my shopping! Shocked, I replied 'I would never ever walk out without paying for two bags of shopping' and her retort was 'Well you know what people are like around here!' No, actually, I have no idea what you mean. Are you insinuating, we are all shoplifters??? I am just appalled and disgusted. I am a 60 year old Nana and just feel awful and unable to return to the store. Lidl, you have lost a very loyal customer. I will now be returning to Aldi:(
