My mother went into the Marlow store

My mother went into the Marlow store, obviously walking badly and using a stick. She used one the baskets with handles, after paying for her shopping, she asked the manager if she could use the basket to take her shopping to the car. He looked at her and then walked off. She asked someone else in Lidl uniform, they did the same thing. My mother carried the two bags, with another large item whilst using her stick across the road to the car park. Not one member of staff offered to help her. My mother spent the next two days in pain because of her shoulder and hip. I would have gone for her, if she had told me she needed items, but I was at work.

Customer Service is appalling, and considering this store is an area with a high demographic of elderly residents they should be more considerate. My generation was bought up to be observant, compassionate and considerate towards others. God help us if this generation are the ones who will be one day running all of the business's etc. Lidl you should be ashamed of yourselves for treating YOUR customers like this!

Lidl at Marlow- fruit bad and mouldy

Lidl at Marlow, Bucks opened about one year ago, and on initial inspection, I thought it poorly stocked.
My personal circumstances has meant that I have needed to consider costs. I have found that the reduced prices at Waitrose means the quality of food is maintained at an affordable price.
I decided to give Lidl another go last week, as it does seem busy and popular. What a mistake and why are people so disinterested in their health to shop here ?
The food is inferior, unless you’re happy to eat white and bland products- cakes, chocolates and bread.
The strawberries I bought looked great, but on opening that evening, there was a mouldy one tucked away at the bottom of the pack. I ate another, thinking that it was only one that was mouldy, but no, the fresh looking one that I ate tasted of mould 🤢.
The nectarines looked lovely, but cutting them open; they are bad in the centre.
I didn’t think I saved on the shop I purchased and it is a false economy if the food is past its best date.
What nutrition am I really getting from the food and when it’s bad Lidl is causing me harm ?
I did get a refund from the strawberries with some difficulty from the manager !

This is so disappointing to hear. Please email customerservice.reviews@lidl.co.uk and we'll be sure to have this looked into. - Lee
