I purchased a Liebherr Fridge/freezer in January 2020 and this month May it has failed losing all the frozen food. My previous model a Bosch lasted nearly eleven years. I purchased this Company's model on advice that it produced superior products. The customer staff were both polite and helpful but as far as I am concerned it looked good but it did not match its so called reputation. I would never recommend it and certainly will never buy another

I recently purchased a liebherr freezer with integrated ice machine. The ice machine continually alarms. The warranty repair support say the entire freezer needs to be removed and there is no certainty that it will go back in without problems as it is integrated with the cabinetry doors. The alarm goes off whenever you use the ice drawer and no one really seems to know what the problem is. Such a big drama to fix such a small issue. The after sales support is what I would say is the worst.

Do not buy Libherr refrigerators, after half a year of purchase the refrigerator does not work. Unfortunately, Libherr has contracted incompetent partners (AW service) for service, where you will only hear that they have no people and no one communicates with you. I have 2 small children at home and we have been without a refrigerator for a week and we have nowhere to put food. You will never be able to reach the customer service line. Shame on Libherr, I thought it was a quality brand. Contract reliable and functional partners for service!
21st of February we posted a service call for our freezer FNF 4605-20 which did not freeze anymore after a few days just below zero.
Apparently a software issue. Well... from a top brand like Liebherr you expect immediate action/service but after almost 2 weeks we receive the message today that it can take another 2 weeks. Really disappointing

We purchased a integrated fridge and freezer 4 months ago and the freezer. Our experience with the warranty department is beyond appalling. They are attempting to cling to the claim that it was not installed properly when it in fact has ventilation in excess of what is required. There is also a issue with the sealing of the freezer with is being ignored. They are refusing to come back out and meet with the cabinet maker and not considering all facts. Disgusting service and lack of regard for the consumer!

The Liebherr FNe4625 freezer I purchased 8 months ago stopped working. On troubleshooting, I discovered that the manufacturers guarantee was only 6 months. The Liebherr User Manual suggested that I should turn the freezer off, wait 10 minutes, then turn it on again. If that didn't fix the fault, then I should call out their engineer.
I decided not to as I didn't want any additional cost and even if the freezer was repaired, I couldn't trust it to work in the future. The cost of the food to fill it was just not worth the risk. I cut my losses and replaced it with another brand.

We bought a number of Liebherr products and recently the small fridge in my upstairs kitchen stopped refrigerating. I have emailed various agents, branches etc to see if someone can come fix it. I have not had a single response. For the additional cost and then lack of support, I would not buy Liebherr again and would not recommend.
We had our previous Liebherr fridge/freezer for 20 years and we never had any problem. Which is why we chose another Liebherr it was delivered yesterday,Wednesday 27th November 2024, the fridge had a problem so I rang the head office. They requested photo's and video of the problem, I rang them several times this morning, I have waited a long time on each occasion and the phone goes dead each time. In my opinion, the customer service department are a joke, chocolate fire guards
I will never deal with this company again and I certainly will not recommend Liebherr to anyone.

I have two large freestanding fridge freezers in one house and a freestanding freezer in another . I bought the freezer because the others performed so well. The standalone freezer is remarkably solidand quiet and reassuring after the frosty noisy one we inherited when we moved into the house
I have had a Liebherr fridge/freezer for the last couple of years. The ice maker has never worked properly and we have experienced other faults. It is now broken again! I have lost count of the amount of calls I have had to make to Liebherr and the amount of service visits I have had over the time we have had it. None of these has solved the problem properly. My last experience of Liebherr Customer Services was unhelpful. I had to chase them and they claimed they had tried to ring me which they hadn't! Very disappointing and will never buy another Liebherr appliance.
I was highly disappointed with my Liebherr fridge and freezer. Despite the brand's reputation for quality, the freezer started rusting within months, and the finish on both appliances easily shows marks, even with careful cleaning. Customer service was unhelpful, and it’s clear that the product quality has declined significantly. I won’t be purchasing from Liebherr again.
We paid €3900 for a side-by-side fridge freezer. After two years the door seals came off and we were charged for the privilege of getting new ones.

Instructions for registering machine (3 versions depending which access/reference you use) all bear little/ no resemblance to actuality.
Impossible to Wi-Fi connect, and much as above.
V polite man on phone who effectively peddled the Grenfell line - not really our fault, incompetent salespersons, designers of manuals, printers of qr codes, etc etc BUT how lucky you are to have this marvellous example of German engineering ( made in Eire) good luck and good bye.

Two years ago we bought a freezer. After one week it stopped working.(All new food lost) we got a new one, but Two years later again problems. Contacted the firm. Have to empty the freezer before they can repair it. Shall also take some weeks before they can come.
Do not buy Liebherr frigo!
Products are not good, they even build kits to try to fix the problems, and them they drop you saying that all is good.

The fridge is just OK but what has got me miffed is that the freshair filter needs replacing every 6 months. They don't tell you this when you buy or on the website. Though the fridge still works when this needs replacing, none of the features they sell the product on do. I find this misleading. It is a faff and an expense buying a new filter every few months. I wouldn't have bought the fridge if I had known this.
I had my Liebherr freezer for just over 1 year when the drawer front broke. I was amazed to be told that it would cost over £60 for a replacement drawer front. You would think that they would have affordable replacement parts given how flimsy these are. £65 for a piece of plastic measuring 38cm x 15. I'm not talking about replacing the whole drawer, just the piece of plastic on the front. Absolutely disgusted! Think carefully before buying this product. My last freezer was heading on 30 years old and was still intact and working when I exchanged it for this tat.
I really wanted to write a positive review for Liebherr hoping that when our five year old Liebherr fridge/ freezer/ wine cooler broke some months ago (which originally cost £7k!) that we would receive good customer service. Unfortunately, although Liebherr offered us a small reduction to replace the broken one (after we have already spent £800 trying to fix the old one), it took months to arrange, with me constantly having to chase them for updates. It actually would have been cheaper and quicker delivery had I purchased from an online retailer! However, last week the new one finally arrived from Liebherr, but sadly had a huge dent in the front. I contacted them about it last week and am STILL waiting for someone to get back to me. For the price comparison of these units, the level of customer service is terrible. I would definitely advise if you go ahead with one of these high end products that you purchase the extended warranty, as our last one completely gave up the ghost after five years. Very disappointed all round with customer service.
Appalling after sales service from the UK team It took 6 months to repair a brand new freezer with damage occurring to our brand new cabinetry caused by the repairman. Impossible to speak to anyone effective on the customer service team. Customer service manager doesn’t respond to calls or emails. Definitely avoid purchasing if you want a reliable appliance or any aftercare when a new product fails. Very sad situation
