The staff is great! Krystal and KJ are very accomodating, friendly, and helpful! The building and grounds are always kept clean and someone is always available if needed. I would happily recommend life storage elgin for office suites and storage needs.

Clean Safe Convenient
There’s a car port over the entrance door. When it was raining I didn’t have to worry about getting everything wet. The stalls are very clean. I only wish the access time was until 10 PM. The location is also perfect.

Amazing experience getting storage for moving
I needed storage because I am moving and I came to life storage in garden city and the whole experience has been amazing! I have been helped by Tai and Danielle and they are so helpful and go above and beyond with customer service! I have had storage at other facilities and thru other companies, and life storage is fantastic. It’s new, clean, and most importantly, I feel safe and know my belongings will be safe.
I love that each unit has light, I’m not depending on the hall light to see inside. And the carts and loading area is clean and organized! I previously was at a place that made you check out a cart every time you wanted to use it and it made a quick visit to your storage an ordeal. This has been simple and easy!

Life Storage rented to a criminal who stole from mine and other units. Stay Away.
I have rented multiple units from Life storage for many years , trusting them to maintain a secure facility. Last Wednesday April, 6 2023, Life Storage rented to a criminal who the same day as they rented; broke into 7 units, 2 of them mine. This resulted is substantial losses, including a heirloom Gibson guitar valued at $10,000, multiple $300. Pens,, expensive art work and possibly more. The District Manager was very unhelpful and stated that Life storage would never provide free rent , as a coutesty due to their negligence. I requested to speak to. Her boss, the Regional Manager. TO date, I have not heard from this individual. The District Mgr, stated she sent an email, but so far, I have not received anything, nor any other form of followup from her. I would recommend refraining from any business with this company who, strangely prides themselves on being customer centric. They might focus on their security procedures , rather than ESG and other items outside of their commitment to paying customers. STAY AWAY from LIFE STORAGE.

I've rented units here twice and in both instances the service I received was fantastic. Michael found the most economical solution for my storage requirements. The reservation process was easy, unit was sparkling clean, and detailed information for access was provided. They are my go to place for storage needs.
