The company take your money then don't…

The company take your money then don't communicate or provide the goods. Its been over 4 months since I placed an order for an outdoor table. I sent email(s) to cancel the item a month ago and never heard back. I tried emailing again and using their business whatsapp with no luck. calling it was often engaged today I managed to get through and was told the item is being shipped. It seems unlikely it is then after saying I would refer to a lawyer they said they can offer a 50% refund. AVOID at all costs I should have read the poor reviews before being dazzled by their nice website!

If there was a zero star rating I’d give it . STAY AWAY

If there was a zero star rating I’d have given them zero stars . Firstly , I ordered a XL Sable Candle & 500ml Sable Diffuser. The fragrance was disgusting & sickening. Didn’t smell anything like the description and notes . Lid of the candle was cheap looking & tacky . The glass jar was nice . The founder of the company Gemma is in my opinion a stuck up unprofessional and arrogant woman (I’ve dealt with her personally ) . She tried to help me when I first returned my purchase but her inconsistency, and ability to actually stick to her word is beyond questionable. She is rude and insincere, she operates her customer service mainly using DMs on Instagram which is frustrating as the time she takes to reply is very slow. They do have a WhatsApp number which is a total waste of time. She informed me her ‘ DPD guy’ would go back and try to retrieve my returned items ( DPD we think delivered to an incorrect address) then she tells me he is her Account Manager and he had gone above & beyond for me ( he didn’t ) so I asked for his name to report him then she turned on me and was very defensive. She then informed me the same guy was fast tracking my reimbursement ( he didn’t ) then she told me to claim from DPD - both Gemma and her DPD Guy/ Account Manager has fobbed me off and they are both clueless and dealt with my issue so unprofessionally and they both need to be investigated. I will make a formal complaint to Trading Standards for both Lifestyle Home Collections & DPD . Guys - my advice is to keep away from both companies. The stress and anxiety they have both caused me is not worth the risk. Take your business to a professional reputable company.

AWFUL!

Paid for my order on the 22 Oct including a R2500 delivery fee and still waiting. Daily phone calls and emails do not help as I am told that the item is on the truck and which is leaving TODAY. Worst experience ever, stay away!

False stock leadtimes and holding onto refunds longer than necessary

Item ordered that was confirmed as in stock, order confirmed and then zero communication, after chasing via a live chat that isnt really live as you leave your message and then they get back to you days after it was discovered my item was actually not in stock. I cancelled my item as I was unable to wait on their lead time, they had failed to fulfil their lead time.
Refund requsted and still waiting , keep chasing and I get told by Gemma that its been processed at their end and to be patient. However NO REFUND still and nothing has been processed at my end, you can tell me all you like that you have processed something at your end however if the payment is not pending nor with me...then I have NOT got my refund.
Fancy social media sales , but be warned that they are taking orders for items they do not have stock of and then holding onto your money !

Unprofessional and extremely rude customer service

Beautiful furniture but the worst customer service experience. Extremely unprofessional and frankly just rude! I am so disappointed because Lifestyle was my favorite shop to buy furniture but after receiving such bad customer service they’ve lost a loyal customer and i will definitely tell friends and family to buy their furniture elsewhere.

My favourite brand discovery of 2023!

I first saw this brand advertised on Instagram (just before Christmas 2023) selling beautiful 2500ml XXL room diffusers & I couldn’t resist. After reading the story about this brand, how it was founded in 2023, the owner wanted to curate a “selection of exquisite XXL room diffusers, each one thoughtfully designed to create an aura of opulence and sophistication within your living spaces”, I knew I needed to make a purchase. The 2500ml diffuser lasts more than 12 months, meaning it’s a much more cost conscious purchase compared to other well known brands that I love. I chose Amber Fie & I’m delighted I did. Their website is a pleasure to browse, checkout process very easy, with multiple options of payment. Communication was fab, with immediate confirmation of my order & updates of my delivery. Delivery was extremely fast, well packaged to ensure no damage on transit. Competitively priced as the volume of scent is much greater than all other brands. I purchased during a 40% off sale, which was fab! Not only does my new diffuser envelope my home with an exquisite aroma, the diffuser is extremely beautiful to look at too, a real statement piece in my home. I’m delighted with both my purchased & the service that I received. Highly recommend.
