Horrible

Horrible! Customer service is aggressively rude and lacks integrity. I wouldn’t want to be tied to them through a loan. It seems as though they’re shady and not looking out for the clients best interests.

Complete Waste of Time - Misleading Process

After getting "approved" through the online application, sending them every single document they requested, and even sent a closing date with a promise that the funds would close, they made up a completely arbitrary excuse for not closing. As in, the message itself made no actual sense at all. They had a problem with a manager, and employee, not being on the credit application? What? This is what they came up with on the closing date.

Keep in mind - this was weeks and weeks of work, dozens of hours of effort, for a deal that was completely legitimate on a 40-year-old business that had no debt and is profitable with over a million dollars of revenue.

I could have gone with any other lender, and I completely regret my decision here. I highly recommend that you do not waste your time with them. I don't know if "scam" is the best word - I mean technically, this cost me nothing, except for an INCREDIBLE amount of wasted time and prevented me from applying with a more reputable lender. Maybe scam really is the best word!

Bizarre business process & waste of time

I went through LiftFund’s process of submitting documentation for three months to qualify for a business loan. I have impeccable credit and the equity to support the loan of 70k, yet I was declined. What a waste of time. They requested so much paperwork and documents and didn’t give sufficient time for completion and when I would ask for assistance and support I never got any replies from anyone despite reaching out on numerous occasions by phone and by email. They have a department that supposedly assists with helping navigate the process such as writing a business plan etc, but I never heard from anyone to this date despite sending several emails. They have poor, below-par customer service and terrible business acumen. My point of contact had the personality of dried paint, but I tolerated it because I needed the loan. How can small businesses get a fair start or thrive if there aren’t the supports in place. There aren’t many companies offering startup loans, so they have the monopoly in this arena, hence the poor service. I do NOT recommend wasting your time to apply for financial assistance or business supports using LiftFund.

🚨🚫 Minority report

🚨🚫 Minority, woman owner, recently red lined for the second time. Your company words are nice, the reality is heartbreaking for a small business owner.
Absolutely a waste of momentum. This company literally made me sad.

It is not a ORG. Feels like a high rate dishonest lender

I called this company because the largest bank of usa told me it was one of their costumers as SBA lender. We checked they have a program for working visa as long as people is legal in USA.
I spoke on the phone before applying to make sure their advertising was real and a lady confirmed me there were no issues to not be a resident.
First thing a hard inquiry a lady called Tasha confirmed me that I was able to apply with my visa, that her assistant Laura will help me with the documents.
After have to fill several times the forms, pay an accountant fill over forms for three days. I was contacted and told “ you do not qualify for any loan since you are not a USA resident( I have investment of over 100.000$ and a company producing for over a year)”, the same people that confirmed me that I qualify, after all the expenses and time, told me I cannot since Im not a USA resident, that I will need a document that is valid over a year; so I told her, I am under asylum and TPS protection program that was extended for 18 months. But she did not care at all since time of visa less than a year was the issue. She dispose my application that took hours, money and a hard inquiry. She told me no worries we won’t approve you but there is another department from same company that with another rate and return term will help you with the loan without a hard inquiry.

Next Francisco, called at the end of the day. Started to ask me who told me that I could apply having a working visa(they have it advertised). Then he told me "After exhaustive research I can give you 20.000$"(I applied for more than ten times that amount) but he ll give the highest rate, plus comissions plus a lot of things making it sound that It will be very expensive, making a lot efforts to make me hang up. He told me “you need to tell me now if It is worth it to talk to the underwritting”(like all the time and money they made me waste it’s less important than their time and my app in their desk)
