These are cute little string lights. I have a few of this design, with different things inside - daisies, toadstools, ghosts, - now pom-poms. You can use their 6 hour timer feature, so they will come on, stay on for 6 hours, then switch off until the evening. If good quality batteries are used (it’s worth it), these work for many weeks without needing to be changed. I like to nestle them in amongst fake flowers or greenery, and they really brighten up your space. I think they are good value for money, too.
