Place the extension cable between the plug and the lights to extend the lead wire, before or after a splitter, or in the middle of the run of lights as required, using the connector interfaces on either end of the cable.

Had to add this to my order as the power pack lead is so short. It prompts you to purchase this and only comes in a 10 mtr length. If the lead on the power pack was more generous, this extension wouldn’t be needed. Even a shorter 3 or 4 mtr lead would be more useful. Wish I had looked around for alternatives.
