Do not waste your money. If you have children under 8 or so and you csn get cheap tickets then fair enough.
For teenagers and adults it's a wate of time. Horrendous queues when it's warm also don't help.

Went with a friend and two teenagers, the waltzer guy refused to spin the car due to health and safety so we just went round in a circle confused as to what the thrill was supposed to be, the ultimate is gone they all are gone, only gypsy fairground attractions remain and tiny kids rides that bore even the children, the food is a joke, the place is ruined, whoever decided to demolish the good rides and replace with cheap kids fairground rides etc should be blamed for the death of the park, the rebrand is just a money saving exercise to replace maintenance heavy thrill rides with sedate inexpensive plastic crap

Summer special advertised as £20 per person on the gate, but in fact was £22.50. £20 is only if you book in advance.

Great Trip with Amazing Staff
I Visited LWV Yesterday with my Son and his Friend. The Young Boy working there -
(Harry) (who we encountered on the Tree Top Ride) was fantastic - It was so refreshing to see a Teenegaer who had such a positive attitude - He was fantastic with The kids and just an all round delight - A real Credit to you. Will be back again soon.

The place is supposed to be suitable for 3-13 year olds, I mean this must be a joke! My daughter and I were either too small or too tall to ride therefore it was a complete waste of time and money. My daughter is 5 and hated it from start to finish. My local fairground is way better and cheaper. The staff are miserable and clueless and the food is terrible, limited and extautionate.
Flamingoland is way better. I will never be going to this place again, the website is false, half the rides aren't even there anymore and the place is falling apart at the seems.

2 adults and 1 child around 80-100 pound for this place when it was basically a fairground from Foster Square we was saving up so much when we could've saved up abit more and gone to Alton Towers which would've been better than a fairground.

Such a shame the Brighton pier group took the decision to demolition such an iconic ride will never return to the park as there are no good rides for over the age of 10

We chose this theme park as it looked as if it met our needs as a family...

But...there were only 2 rides OPEN that the 11 year old had any intrest in.UNTIL 2:15PM
"SPOOKTACULAR entertainment throughout the day"to keep children entertained while in the cue's 👍🏻 Great But... NOPE.
The park was spaced out that far apart that our elderly relative couldn't walk that far,we weren't made aware of THIS.
We purchased two glow stick globe's at the "magic show" they didn't work we only found out at home.they stunk of vinegar.
The jungle bounce ball attendant was so bored he stood with his hands in his pockets while a member of the public jumped on the apparatus and rescued a little boy for a grandmother.
The magic show was an anticlimax.
To be honest,I had to laugh when the lad on the Walters said he couldn't spin us for health and safety reasons,but there was rubber Dinghy's going down a "water slide " with no side's!
Food is expensive,staff are young and really just give it a wide birth.

We visited with our 7 year old daughter. There were only two rides that she wasn’t tall enough for which was good so there is something for next year. The site was exceptionally clean she even pointed out how nice the toilets smelled. We had great value for money but I have to say the main credit to this place is it’s staff. Especially the man on dragon drop on Sunday morning I forgot to look at his name badge but he deserves a special mention. They were so friendly and added to my daughter’s excitement of the day. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

I went with my Granddaughter on Sat 20th August .
my granddaughter is 7 ,there is plenty for her to do here, she much enjoyed it.
However the food isn’t good, it is severed by very young staff who seem clueless as to what that are doing , which held the queue up. One Man who had waited over an hour was given an empty box among his other food order .
The chips are quite expensive, though I admit we’re well cooked and plentiful .
Another person in our group decided that they would like to have burger and chips from another food stall , Near the swings , the burger was tough , tasted awful , that was binned .
I had a sandwich from the cafe , where the soft play is, the bread was wet, soggy inside , the bread was like dough , the chicken was sparse , swimming in mayo, again this food was binned.
Over all it’s a lovely theme park , in my opinion it’s suitable for age 12 and under.
My only complaint is the food , I suggest bringing a picnic .

Hygene in food places (luigi) is very poor tables uncleaned and floor the same restaurant was empty so staff should have time to clean but dont

The place is great if your a family with kids under 15 in would say, loads for them to do, ample parking, plenty of space and staff family of 4 under £100 quid for the full day is great..... However... Food... Drink... Areas are aweful, kiosks all the same 5 quid hot dog.. Nachos and lollies.. No ice cream no coffee from EVERY EATERY machine faulty, poor lady in the indoor cafe bit was lovley, but no idea what she was doing or how to use the til, the chips 2 tiny portions £6!! small drinks £2.40!!! and all staffed by kids, who simply don't know what there doing... "How do I do a hot dog in a bun" ? he asked his teenage workmate, 4 of them where £20!! And stale, so take a picnic. Use a locker we found them at the end take your own drinks and have a great time, owners.. You should be ashamed of £3 tiny portions of re heated chips served by undertrained teenagers and £5 hotdogs with stale buns, 60p for a sachet of tomatoe sauce wow. Pure greed of a captive audience.

I have never been here before. I took my 10 and 16 year old Grand kids on the 2nd July 2022. On entering the park, you are greeted by the Dinosaurs. They are extinct, we all know that, however the ones in the park are way past there sell by date. You can see the splits in them and the animatronics through the splits in the outer layers. The Ultimate was not working and has not been for 3 years, a lot of the rides were off, there were no more birds of prey, no shows of any sort going on. The park is very tired and in need of a major overhaul. I can now understand why the cost of the tickets were so low. The staff were all amazing and very happy, polite, friendly and courteous. Unfortunately I will not be revisiting this attraction. It is well past an attraction now. Shame. A good day was had with slight disappointments along the way.

I honestly was so disappointed when I went. They took the best rides away like black peal, ultimate isn’t even on and that was supposed to be the best ride there. I get that you are making in to a children friendly theme park but before it had rides for all ages and now adults and teenagers are thinking it’s bad and honestly dissatisfied.

Saturday 11,th June 2022 yesterday we had an amazing birthday party at light water valley their party packages are amazing and are a very good price my son and all his school friends had an amazing day I would recommend you to have a child's birthday party at light water valley the manager Gemma was amazing couldn't do enough for you and all the staff was amazing too we will be returning again soon

Aimed at under 12s but my 9yr old found the rides limited and not too entertaining. It's not clear why adults have to pay full entry price when there arent any specific adult attractions.
Queuing wasn't bad but it seemed a quiet day overall, ride operatives looked disinterred and surly.
Won't rush back.

Went today for a family day out was absoulty terrible my 2 year old went on 1 ride due to his height even with a adult he wasent allowed on disgracfull .. same as my nephew went on 2 rides all day as he wasent tall enough total waste of money and day

We went Lightwater Valley yesterday which is ment to be for under 12s. Don't bother. Ques were horrendous for starters. Then you were either to tall or not tall enough. Went with all under 12s. Some rides closed. It was over crowded and just so stressing. The staff except for the lovely lady on the caterpillar ride are mostly grumpy and slow. Thank you to the lovely lady for ending our day in smiles.
Warning to all don't bother wasting your money and time. Lightwater Valley Theme Park

P.s think the fairground has more rides and probably spend the same amount.

Took my 2 year old today he had a great time . Loads of rides we never actually queued for one ride . He was the happiest little boy . I enjoyed the day and would recommend it to all parents with toddlers . My only grumble the burgers not good . That though against the entry price and number of rides he had I forgive them thanks for a brilliant day

Had to re arrange a booking due to hotel cancelling at the last minute. Phoned and staff made a re booking at ease, great service
