Follow on from my previous review.
When purchasing my motor home last October I too was told credit card was not acceptable fir a deposit, why.
Probably because the credit card company would get involved in any disputes. Also like many others paid £300: for mechanical insurance cover what happens to that now. I feel sorry for any innocent employees who lost their jobs, but not the people in charge who must of known what was going on. I shall be pursuing them for recompense and I am not the sort of person who gives up.

We put a £2k deposit on a used motorhome back in February. We were told it would take 3 weeks to prep for handover. The salesman Dean told us that they only accepted debit cards, not credit cards.
When we received the paperwork it stated handover from 1st March 2024. Last week, 29th Feb, we phoned for a progress update to be told "Don't forward anymore funds as it looks like we are going into administration."
I was assured that our deposit was safe & to call back on 1st March to speak to Rick. Rick informed me that a meeeting of MBH (LLV's parent group) shareholders had been called to discuss going into administration & that for now it was business as usual. He asked me to call back next day to get our deposit refunded as that had to be done by the accountant who would be in to do it for us. Nothing happened & today I spoke with Kris, the sales director of their parent company (still trading as Robinsons Caravans) . He gave me a load of flannel, saying that we shouldn't have been told that & they only went into administration on 2nd March & even suggested fraudulently moving the motorhome from the seized business & selling it to us from another MBH business, but refused flatly to refund our deposit.Kris told me he would text me his email address & I have chased this up to no avail. The group actually went into administration on 26th Feb! Something stinks.

I had a few problems with my moterhome I was in Spain at the time so contacted Lincoln leisure within my time frame of buying my moterhome
They said bring it in when you get back from Spain so I did
5 weeks later they are still waiting for part
They said all other work has been done was so fed up of ringing on a weekly basis I said I am coming to pick up
When I got there nothing has been done at all was not happy at all
When I bought it I wanted to take out extended warranty the guy said yes no problem that will be done we will do that for you
Went through paperwork and no warranty was done
I could keep going on but so so annoying at the minute
Ringing head office up on Monday

Picked up my new motorhome 2 weeks ago and had a number of minor teething problems.

Booked into the service department today and all of the issues were quickly sorted out by Doug & his team.

This company purchased a mobile home I had for sale and were professional from the start. Pleasure to do business with and did what they said on the tin. Guys who picked it up were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone to either buy or sell from these people.

We purchased our first ever motorhome last year, the service and advice we received from Rick and the Team was excellent.
The aftersales support was superb,We had a problem with a warning light on the van, from the time we reported it, the van was fixed within 6 days.

Based on the professional and knowledgeable service, we paid the deposit and collected the new motorhome 9 days later. Excellent customer service very friendly owners went out of their way to give us customer satisfaction.We have been Motorhoming for the past 20 years and have had vans from other companies but by far lincolnleisure vehicles have surpassed other experiences would not hesitate to highly recommend them from Gerald Upton and Janet mitchell👍👍👍👏

It says it all in the title - friendly and helpful service when buying and excellent after sales support to resolve a couple of minor issues under the 12-month warranty. We are not local to Lincoln Leisure and they've been very flexible in helping to resolve any issues to minimise inconvenience.

We have been looking for our first Motorhome, we found it at Lincoln Leisure, Tritton Road, Lincoln. Gary, Steve, Rick, Dean, and John are a great team, so friendly and helpful, we are so pleased with their after sales service also. Some places once you’ve handed the cash over after sales goes out the window, not here, they are as helpful after as they are when you’re looking to buy. You can’t say that about many places. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, you’re not rushed and nothing is too much trouble.
We have been so well looked after, services, habitation service we will go back to them

We found the whole caravan buying experience with Lincoln Leisure Vehicles (LLV) extremely pleasurable and easy.

We are caravan newbies from Reading (160 miles from Lincoln), and initially made contact with LLV enquiring about a caravan advertised. John ended up talking us through weights, towing, etc, and after a couple of days thought we put a deposit down without seeing it, as they seemed very trustworthy, honest and without any pressure.

Communication from LLV has been excellent, and having been on two short runs we still turn to them for the occasional query which they have been happy to help with.
