A good experience - No issues

I reached out to this company following a road incident with debris that I believed contributed to my rack having issues. My car being 25 years old, I struggled to get a replacement brand new in short time. From the initial phone call enquiry, delivery and installation of the rack purchased, I cannot complain. These guy's went out of their way (to suit my working hours) to get my rack collected, I received my surcharge back in a number of days. I cannot fault, like others state. I do understand that I purchased a refurbished item- nothing is guaranteed to be perfect...I would like to think I could resolve if any issue was to arise. Driven now for almost 2 months and everything has been ok so far...From my experience so far, I would use again and would recommend.

A dishonest company

A dishonest company, according to their website, stated that if you send back the old part, you would receive a £100 refill. I followed all their instructions carefully and sent it back, but after several attempts to contact them, I never received the refill email and they do not respond.

Awful company awful workmanship

Awful company, rude, then when proven there workmanship is the issue they blank you completely. Bought rack 10 months ago, driven around 700miles, pinion seal started leaking badly so contacted them as was meant to be under warranty. They made every excuse stating it must be my pump etc as wasn't the seal. Had checked at local steering specialist who confirmed pump etc all good and was pinion seal, then lion automotive said it would be cheaper for me to get repaired local than to return for them to repair. In the end I paid local garage to repair and picture work done, I forwarded pics to dave to show it was a seal only to be ignored ever since. Multiple mechanics now have stated seeing the seal it was not replaced when refurbed and it was just painted over. Seal was perished to point pieces came off as touched it , dried out and cracking. Mechanic also stated seal looks more like 10 years old not 10 months. Lion automotive don't keep to warranty they provide and are downrite rude when you try to get them to fix there bad work. Wish I could upload pics on here to show how bad it really was.

the owner will blame you

was sent a rack, it was left outside in the street and it went missing I had a real nightmare getting the courier to replace it. So I had it sent to the garage where the work was being done they fitted the rack straight away the gator started filling up with fluid lion automotive tried to blame the mechanic but when I looked on Google trust pilot and Facebook this company had terrible reviews. so many people bought racks and had same problem I had to buy one from a motor factors instead has worked perfectly so couldn't be the mechanic which I've used for 10 years plus never an issue.
when I tried to send there rack back they wouldn't accept it and the other end they said I sent it to the wrong address but when I investigated that address was there office he claims it should have been sent to another address I had to go to my bank to get the money back and the bank informed me he's been in contact with them trying to reclaim the money back and only the other day a courier company turned up with his broken rack again and I refused the delivery.
he is an absolute nightmare and does not tell the truth probably the worst experience I've ever had buying something online avoid like the plague unless you want to lose money patience and get a massive head ache!!!!

I do not trust this outfit

I ordered a steering rack for my Nissan Primera from PSR Direct Ltd in February 2024, which unfortunately started leaking from inside the gaitor. Since this was covered under their one-year warranty, I ordered another one in November 2024 with the understanding that I could return the faulty unit for a refund on the original order.

Despite clear communication and the faulty item being received by them in December, I have yet to receive a response or resolution. They have made empty promises and failed to follow through.

In short, I do not trust this outfit.

Very Very Very POOR SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very, Very, Very Poor Service!!!

Having spoken to Dave at lion to confirm they can supplied the correct EPS steering rack for a MINI (F56) - which was confirmed, we ordered and paid for a refurbished EPS steering Rack - assured it would not require programming or coding to the vehicle - Although this would not have been an issue due to we are a BMW/MINI specialists with the correct equipment to carry this out.
On Installing the supplied EPS rack we still have numerous fault code stored, which would not clear - one being a coding issue - No Problem - we can code it correctly as we have the required specialist tools required - No due to the rack being incorrectly supplied and not for the requested vehicle spec (our investigation indicated the rack was for a later model with Park assist) - Ok, no problem we can contact Dave and explain the issue - After Numerous attempt to contact we finally managed to speak to Dave - who then totally rejected the fault, blaming us for corrupting the unit by reading the fault codes - ????? - This is just not possible (we have over 30 years BMW/MINI experience and deal with many Programming/Coding repairs - all fault free).
We Have now supplied the customer with a New Genuine EPS Steering Rack - all Programmed / Code ok and customer back on the road - note, at a greater expense!

At the request of Dave we have returned the EPS rack to the company for a full refund - this was over a month ago - Still NO REFUND, NO CONTACT and the company - Dave will not accept our calls or responded to email.

We will NEVER USE AGAIN!!!

This company and its MD are scammers

This company and its MD are scammers. Avoid at all costs. At the very least you should treat the surcharge to be part of the cost of the part and simply hang on to the old part. That way, when the part you've purchased fails and you send it back under their so-called warranty and get no satisfaction, you will at least be able to avoid the surcharge you'd otherwise have to pay when you cut your losses and turn to a genuiune supplier. It is amazing that a company like this that scams its customers so badly is allowed continue in business.

Worked out well for me

I had a good experience.

Called. Spoke to Dave. I presume he's the owner.

He explained the steering rack for my T4 Transporter van was impossible to get brand new now.

Had a reconditioned one sent on a free next day delivery.

Garage fitted it. All worked.

PSR then send a courier to collect your old one at their cost.

If it can be reconditioned, you get your surcharge money back.

All sounds pretty fair to me.

Bought item on ebay

Bought item on ebay, wrong item sent. Correct replacement promised, but never sent.

A £100 surcharge is requested as a deposit on the old part, which is requested outside of ebay (should be part of the ebay listing itself as per ebay Ts and Cs).
