It was a smooth process with clear instructions nothing was complicated. Everything's is organized and well explained

Used them to sign up for my NIF number. Process was easy enough. However, in the contract you agree to an automated renewal of their legal representation for one year at 149€, which becomes due after the initial free period of 6 months has passed.

Close to the end of that 6 months period, they sent me a marketing style email which looked like a simple follow up, and whether I'd require extra services. The kind of email that you give no more attention to than a quick peek. The real cheeky part is that they place their Lisbob graphic at the end of the service offering part, making it look like that is the end of the email. Below that they place their "friendly" reminder that the automated renewal is coming up. And then below that the graphic/signature again.

I only found out when my bank statements showed a €149 deduction from Lisbob. So I went back to check their email.

Cheeky and borderline deceitful in my opinion. Stay far away!

Bottom line at the top: Lisbob’s NIF process is effective, reasonably priced, and faster than promised. Lisbob’s web site is really helpful in explaining their process to facilitate an online application. I followed the instructions. They worked perfectly. Lisbob gave fast feedback via email step by step. The process took only 5 days start to finish. That’s faster than the nominal 7-10 days indicated in the description. By the way, the process involves signing a form to give a representative power of attorney for the purposes of obtaining the NIF. I had no qualms about doing so, but I read the fine print (translated into English) anyway. The legalese isn’t hard to understand and appears to protect the client from any unwarranted use of the POA. Conclusion: Libob’s the real deal. If you’re looking for an NIF, Lisbob is the way to go.

I completed my online NIF application on a Saturday afternoon. An email received from Lisbob early the next morning stated one of my documents would not be acceptable to the authorities. I resent a corrected version and was notified the next day that all documents were good to go. After completing the final step on Monday morning I was surprised to be notified on Wednesday that my Portugal NIF was issued within the 2 business days turnaround. Couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received.
