We subscribed to Little Cooks during lockdown as frankly we were tired of Banana bread by then and found it hard to get baking essentials like flour etc easily. The kits are brilliant as they come with all the dried ingredients, and only need a few things added. We also like the fact that the recipes aren’t too sugary and substituted with other natural sweeteners like honey. My 10yr also enjoys the bonus items in the packs like plant seeds and we reap the rewards of our little cook!

I bought a subscription for my youngest granddaughter as she loves to cook and I was unable to see her due to the lockdown. I also added on an apron which is so pretty and good quality. The box comes every month with lovely healthy food recipes and ingredients plus other activities such as seeds to grow to cook with later. I have been kept up to date with photos and its given me much joy to see her happily stirring and chopping and cooking through photos on Facebook (well supervised of course!) My daughter loves receiving the boxes and won't let me tell her when its coming its a surprise!! The company are lovely to deal with and I would highly recommend Little Cooks for its wonderful ideax and innovations and its lovely customer service.

Gave this little cooks subscription to my young grandson for Christmas.He’s had so much fun cooking with my daughter and now has his own set of little utensils!

My 5 year old loves to bake her little cooks recipes, she does need a little help but really enjoys being in charge of everything. The fruit tarts that we made this month were delicious and looked wonderful.

bought 6 months for my granddaughter 9 yrs old , have had a lot of fun , my kitchen has been a mess but cakes or biscuit's have been made and eaten , also the twigs (willow) and seeds now planted were received very well,
with these items in the box it lets them see how things can grow ,

Packaging, activities, service, communication, etc are all brilliant.

The recipes use mostly obscure, paleo ingredients. I hadn't realised this when I subscribed. My 5yo daughter was thrilled to receive the first box, but the baking process was long and involved due to the quirky nature of the ingredients (boiling rock hard dried dates, stirring the stiff pulp into chickpea flour etc) really put her off, and then the end result tasted so far away from being any sort of treat... she didn't wasn't to even take a second bite.

The second box came and her enthusiasm was zero. It's still on the counter. I'd subscribed for a year and cancelled at that point, and got a refund for the remaining subscription so customer service is very good.

Great fun for Grand daughter and something to look forward to each month.

My parents bought my 5 year old daughter a subscription for her birthday, we love baking in our house and it sounded brilliant. However, I was actually really disappointed and quite surprised by that fact!

The packaging is great and the concept really lovely. The extra activities that are included are a lovely extra special touch.

However, the recipes and ingredients leave a lot to be desired. We're a healthy, active family, I cook 99% of what we eat from scratch, we grow veggies and forage etc... we're no strangers to healthy food - but we also like biscuits and cakes and ice cream. A little of what you fancy does you good, in our view!

The obsessively healthy focus of this company has really let it down in my opinion. Every single recipe has been a disappointment. Most of the time raw dough or batter etc tastes of soil, it inevitably gets stuck in your throat etc... usually the cooked result is a little tastier but usually incredibly bland. The low point was when we made the custard tarts today - the rice flour, chickpea flour and flaxseed conspired to make a biscuit that tasted of dirt when raw and nothing when cooked, and the custard was the most revolting texture - somewhere between snot and gloop- and completely bland to boot.

It's such a shame because my heart now sinks every time a box arrives and my daughter asks if we can bake something tasty instead!

If you have super healthy kids who have never had an ounce of refined sugar in their lives then they may well enjoy this. But for those of us who know the joy of a well baked fairy cake or choc chip cookie, in my opinion you should steer well clear.

I bought the 3 month subscription for my nieces as a treat during lockdown. They are aged 7 and 5. They both thoroughly enjoyed the kit!! The service was excellent and it was a great way for them to spend time together. Wonderful service straight to the door. Great to support small businesses.

Highly recommend and I’m sure I’ll be back in the future!

I purchased a Little Cooks subscription for my 5 year old Grandaughter, who loves receiving& using the kit each month. It's a brilliant idea, very good quality& a lovely way to encourage children to take an interest in food, its origins& to enjoy cooking, as well as sharing an activity with their parents

Great fun to cook with my 3-year old - she is engaged more and more with each box! And I love all the alternatives to the traditional ingridients and the fact that there is no sugar in the recepies

We got this as a gift for our 8 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. The recipes are easy enough for her (though I supervise/help), the ingredients are top quality and very healthy. She enjoys writing in her recipe diary, using the stickers and the little other perks inside the box. We are now seeding basil and broad beans. I had an issue with two of my subscriptions overlapping, and Little Cooks provided outstanding customer service! Highly recommend them. We loved them so much that are gifting it to our little friends.

So impressed with the kits for little cooks and everything you stand for. My granddaughter is really enjoying this experience and learning a lot. She always looks forward to receiving them.

Possibly one of the best gifts we have ever purchased. The kids loved the cooking/baking and the educational side as well. Colouring in and understanding the recipes was just a fabulous added extra. We've purchased a few times now and will continue to do so. Very impressed.

Bought a subscription for my sister who has learning disabilities, and whilst she could manage baking she really enjoyed these boxes coming each month. The ingredients are great quality, and the instructions were easy to follow. We were a bit wary about trying the recipes, as we didn’t know some of the ingredients, but they always tasted great, even if we didn’t manage to follow the recipe to the letter!
A great introduction to baking, for any age. And the additional activities are awesome too. Sadly we had to cancel our subscription due my sisters health declining, but the people at Little Cooks were really understanding about it. A first rate company.
