Kids cooking kits. Monthly subscription boxes containing healthy ingredients that make cooking with children easy, fun and healthy
City Road 160, EC1V 2NX, London, United Kingdom
We love our little cooks boxes. My 2 little boys get so excited when they receive them through the post and are eager to open them.
Not all ingredients are included but it's no trouble, we all go off to the shop and the boys help find what we need and makes it extra fun. Thanks so much we love our kits!

I bought this for my granddaughter and she absolutely loved it. My daughter said that the contents were brilliant and the whole family enjoyed the jam tarts,
Thank you, this is building lots of happy memories for everyone in the family. Looking forward to the next one.

Exceptionally poor company. We were gifted these for a year and it is a monthly disappointment. 1) They never provide all the ingredients, so you need to go and shop for random ingredients which is a full time job in itself and disappoints the kids. 2) The ingredients are foul. I eat vegan food and it can be tasty but you would be better off eating the box as the food is inedible. 3) this month they did not include heart cookie cutters and left a note indicating they had a busier than expected month! We it’s a subscription service so you know exactly how many you would need but then said we could purchase some from their shop. So you get a kit and pay a premium, get 50 percent of the required ingredients, then go shopping for the rest. Then you have to buy the cookie cutters and wait for delivery. With other subscriptions we have they arrive and your good to go in two minutes. This service is a disgrace and it’s a full time job just to shop to produce inedible food.

This was such a lovely experience for us, my 8 year old took the lead and taught me to cook using the easy to follow recipe card and measured ingredients.

Me and my daughter who is 5 years old are very pleased with these cooking packs, i love that all the ingredients are healthy alternatives and introduces us to new flavours and ways of making the recipes. Had two packs so far rocky road and fruity jammy hearts they tasted amazing, we are big foodies and we found them delicious. Most of the ingredients come with just a few other fresh ingredients to get so its not to bad. Brilliant how that also includes conversation starters and we had basil seeds to grow ready for another recipe coming soon, it really gets my daughter involved and interested in cooking and food. Looking forward to our next recipe 😁💕

Little cooks is a lovely idea. My little one loves receiving the box through the post. The only issue is not all ingredients are included, and the ingredients that you need to buy is often things you don’t have in your store cupboard. This months box required fresh fruit and specific shaped cookie cutters we didn’t have at home. It’s slightly disappointing for the little person in our house if we can’t bake straight away. And it’s slightly disappointing to me that we have to source stuff every month.

My mother has subscribed to little cooks for my seven year old as her Christmas present last year.
The first box was the lemon slices.
I myself am by no means a cook of a baker but as this is meant to be for children I assumed that it would be very straightforward.
Useful information before you buy! There is equipment needed for this. You need the most powerful food blender known to man. We had no food blender, so we tried a hand blender. Did not work. It took us 45 mins to mash up some dates. By this time , my child is getting annoyed and is losing interest and my washing up pile is to the ceiling.
After a long hour and a half, we tried lemon slices and I have to say it was like eating a mouthful of washing up liquid. It wasn’t pleasant. Which resulted in my daughter in floods of tears because she felt guilty that her nan had spent her money on something that she didn’t like the taste of.
Undeterred from the first incident (also remaining open minded that I possibly did something wrong on the first box and we didn’t have the right equipment) I try to keep a balanced view so perhaps box number two will be better. I even bought a new food blender in preparation and I asked my mother to have a go at the next recipe which was jam biscuits (to avoid any potential screw ups from myself). Sad to say this was another epic fail. Even with the food blender the dates do not blend or break down. The filling for the biscuits was runny , more like sauce than anything. They didn’t taste nice. So again, another disappointing experience.
The positives are for this is that the packaging is nice and the idea behind this is really lovely, I can’t fault that. The intention is fantastic.
I also understand the need for kids to experiment with healthier foods , so I will give points for that too and that it is suitable for children with allergies and dietary requirements.
The negatives outweigh the positives though I’m afraid. We actually are dreading the next box coming through and my child is no longer interested so it has been a complete waste of money. The end results didn’t taste good. If they tasted good at the end and there was a smile on my child’s face then I could forgive all and accept it as a fun experience but it really hasn’t been for us.
I fail to see how this is suitable for children. I could understand it if all they have to do is Chuck everything in a bowl and mix it up but there are blenders and stoves needed so it ends up being the parents doing 99% of it and the kids standing round watching.
Sorry guys but whilst the idea of your product is wonderful, for us personally it just isn’t suitable. If the subscription can be cancelled please let us know how (I believe it was paid as an annual fee).

We love these boxes. We have received 4 boxes now, my 7 year old has managed to do each one individually, with supervision. She loves filling in the activity booklet afterwards and is always proud of herself for a new skill learned. While she is a bit of a fussy eater at times, she doesn’t always like the outcome but out of our family of 5, there are often most of us that do enjoy the outcome and I feel like this is a chance to widen her palette that I wouldn’t necessarily have had a chance to do if I didn’t get her these kits. Would definitely recommend to anyone. 😁

100% worth the monthly subscription cost. I am learning new, and healthier, cooking techniques along side my children; while having fun with them. I am thoroughly impressed and look forward to our monthly box arriving.

Such a lovely gift for my granddaughter. I love that she will learn how to use such healthy ingredients to make a wide range of yummy treats. Delighted with the extras too.

I came across Little Cooks Co on Facebook and wanted to give it a try with my 7 years old daughter, to give us some time together, doing something else than homework.
I wasn't disappointed: She was over the moon when she received her first box with her name on it and was super proud of the result. the ingredients are organics and the packaging's compostable: what's not to like.
I can't wait for the next one!

Our 6 year old daughter loves these. She gets to learn how to cook, we get to eat tasty and healthy food. A win for all of us! Love that a second recipe card is always included and the little fun & thoughtful extra is always looked forward to. In our first kit we got willow wands which are growing super fast and the basil seeds we got recently for upcoming recipe are perfect too. Brilliant customer service as well. Highly recommend!

Bought this for our 7 year old for a Christmas present. She loves opening the box to find out what she will be making and the little extras keeps her occupied. It’s great for her to learn new skills and to gain confidence, and she feels proud to have achieved making something yummy!

We really enjoyed our box! There was plenty to do. It was a real lifesaver this half term. They loved the birdfeeders and we have been watching the birds in the mornings have a peck at them! The basil seeds went down well also and they are watching everyday for growth and learning how to care for it.

Perfect and a fun way for kids to learn about healthy ingredients and how to make delicious meals and treats. Added bonus that it helps with reading and some maths (weighing ingredients). Great that it’s delivered monthly with recipe cards to keep and a surprise - seeds to grow for a future bake/cook for example. Excellent kit for the whole family to enjoy.
