Modern design for CV
Thank you for improving the design of my CV. The templates are nice and there is a good selection to choose from. The tool is also quite easy to use.
However, to give it the maximum rating,
I was missing the option to individually customize some parts of the templates according to my needs.
When saving the document, there is unfortunately no preview showing how many pages the final document will cover. It is also not possible to download the PDF and Word versions together; each format has to be downloaded separately.

Confusion with ongoing subscription
My son (a poor student) used this company to draft up a c.v. for a one off fee of £1.99, unfortunately 2 weeks later they took another £19.99 off him. On checking the link it seems he had subscribed to a monthly subscription, which stated "every 4 weeks". Unfortunately for him when using their service, he could not see anywhere suggesting a monthly subscription fee and no boxes at that time to unsubscribed. I also checked the site and could not see a box suggesting a monthly subscription. Then for some unknown reason they took £19.99 off him within 2 weeks. The website does suggest unsubscribing after payment has gone through and yet on returning to the same page, there is nowhere to do this. He tried to email customer services, but the email keeps bouncing back saying unknown address. He is now stuck with no one to rectify this and is out of pocket too. Be careful when using this site that you do not also end up paying more than you bargained for!!

Livecareer were quick to answer our review and rectify the situation. I am grateful for the refund to my son and how quickly they dealt with this.
