Free means costing no money, or not being under the control, force, or restriction of another person or thing.
When you collect peoples details in this way it is NOT transparent that this service is not FREE and they will be asked for money. This surely is not in the spirit of GDPR.

Handy-dandy cover letters
It was very helpful in my job search, and more than a few interviewers did specifically bring it up during our meetings. Once I found a job I was satisfied with, it was straightforward to cancel my subscription. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cover letter tool during an active job hunt.

Live Career UK unauthorised payments
I didn’t agree to the ongoing monthly payment of £19.85, so far I’ve received no response from them in trying to resolve
Since writing this review Live Career seem to suggest the review isn’t genuine, or I haven’t actually used them, they refunded me £9 of the £40 owed, I’d suggest this indicates they knew I have used them, they have my details so know exactly who I am.

I would not use this service
I would not use this service. I was given the option to use for 1 week and this turned into a monthly subscription that I didn't want. When I contacted them they basically didn't care and advised to read the small print. The thing is I probably would have decided to use again, but will definitely not now.

They are scammers!!! First they make you believe that making your resume is for free, then they charge you few dollars for the possibility of downloading it and then they make an automatic memership and charge money from your account unexpectedly!!!

I never set the payment to be auto renewal, but it was set to it.
I discovered it months laiter, cancelled my subscription. Then today i see the payment continued.

I went on to site and they helped me write a review for a fee of 1.95, they assured me they would remind me that they would inform me before I was due a subscription fee a recurring fee of 19.95, I don't want to subscribe,low and behold they have taken a 19.95 fee from my account today and want 14.95 to cancel a subscription I never agreed to, raging, will be reporting to my bank fraud team.
