Fantastic platform! I started my LiveLingua program in July after having a trial class with one of the tutors there. She was fantastic and after a couple of months working with her, I decided to do the unlimited program. I've learned a lot and made a lot of progress during that time. One perk of the unlimited program is that you can have several tutors assigned to you, which means opportunities for experiencing different teaching styles and backgrounds. I would definitely recommend the unlimited Spanish program to others!

I have very positive teaching experience learning medical spanish with Mr. Miguel Humanes. He is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how he presents the material. His lessons are engaging, useful, and he was very patient in class always encouraging me to try. Every day is different and exciting, every day we work on different tasks. I have used Live Lingua since November of 2020 and have overall enjoyed the experience. They have connected me with a good tutor and the platform has made it easy to purchase and schedule lessons. Overall I am able to do lessons on my own schedule and it works well for me.

Live Lingua is well organized and responsive. Of all the different language websites I looked at they were the only one I saw that did both an intake review and one on one session with a native speaker to assess existing proficiency with the language and what the goals were in taking the language class. They also had the option to tailor the structure of the course to my needs which was to gain enough proficiency to travel around the country and deal with hotels, restaurants, directions, etc. Finally, Live Lingua provided options relative to the instructor I wanted to work with which in my case was native Spanish speaker in Spain.

My experience with Live Lingua has been great. At first I was hesitant to have on-line classes but it has been much better than I thought. The teachers at Live Lingua are very qualified and experienced teachers. I really like the fact that I can schedule my own classes and take as many classes as I want. I looked into other on-line Spanish classes but Live Lingua has exceeded my expectations so far.

A great concept and i love the opportunity to practice speaking with native speakers. I appreciate the time at the end of the sessions to review any learning and also the report is useful following the sessions.

A few years ago I began studying italian, first in The Institute of Adult Education. The disadvantage there was that the groups were large.You only had few times to try to speak and express your opinion. I didn't feel that I was making any progress at all until I found Live Lingua on a tip of my son. When you study with Live Lingua you are alone with your teacher. You must try to produce speach. You will hear native teachers speaking the language you are studying. Your teacher will test how you understand speech. During the class we discuss, review grammar and learn about Italian culture. I can recommend Live Lingua for everyone who wants to get a high-quality and effective teaching in the language of their choice.

I'm finding the classes useful as they encourage speaking about a great variety of subjects that are very current and possible topics of conversation in a Spanish-speaking situation in real life. We are able to practice listening and speaking (and thinking on the spot). The class length is good. The visual presentations are useful for getting you thinking about the topic. The suggested words to use in your verbal responses are very useful!!! We are usually starting to talk with help/clues, even if it is a photograph. All the classes are challenging for a beginner and one can practice better answers after the class. The verbal and written corrections are a great help. All the teachers are great. They are very supportive. We are able to ask for immediate help with vocabulary and the teacher adds this information to the Chat. I find that downloading the chat is helpful to review new or corrected vocabulary and grammar.
At times, the teachers let some students speak too long.
The beginner classes are the perfect level for me.
I think once there was an intermediate student in our beginner class as that was the only class she could take that day. This is distracting for beginners! One student was in his first class and was completely not able to participate as he was blown away by the level of Spanish from a more advanced student. I can roll with things now but I was very nervous in the beginning, as the new student was in that class. I'm sure the teacher sent him some encouraging words in his emailed group class report.
It is a safe environment to practice and make mistakes and at the Beginner level, others can see what level of fluency others are at -- we all get lost for words, we all make gender mistakes, we all conjugate some verbs wrong, we all get corrections to practice later! These group lessons are perfect for me at this stage of my Spanish learning.
P.S. I also have private classes with a Live Lingua teacher, usually once a week. I try to take at least 2 group classes a week. When our clocks change back to Standard Time, I'll be able to take the 1st class of the day. Right now it's too early at 6:00 a.m. PST.

Live Lingua has been very easy to use and schedule video classes in order to assist my Spanish education. The website is very easy to use and schedule classes. There are a variety of teachers and many have time that works for every type of schedule. I will continue to use throughout the year!

My tutor, Miguel, is outstanding. He is always prepped with lessons that are tailored to my specific needs. He is patient and encouraging. He presents notes in a way that allows my brain to connect the language and phonemes together- which is accelerating my learning. Overall, the company is accommodating to my schedule and very responsive to my needs.

I have been extremely impressed with Live Lingua the past month. I signed up for the unlimited classes for a year. Live Lingua's overall organization is great, and it is super easy to schedule classes. Live Lingua paired me up with Spanish teachers from the two countries in which I will be working, which has been awesome. The teachers are very professional, organized, motivated, but also down to earth and the type of people with whom I genuinely enjoy speaking. My Spanish has gone from "know a lot but can't really speak" to "speaking about most topics but lots of room for improvement." You can burn out or get frustrated learning a language, but Live Lingua and the great teachers have kept me very positive. The only experience I can imagine that is better than Live Lingua is full immersion. If you can't do that, choose Live Lingua. Highly recommended.

Great service so far!

I originally started on my quest to improve my Spanish speaking skills on Fiverr.

I tried live tutors on there first, but didn't feel like the "contractor" model of the site was conducive to language learning. It was *just ok*. It felt confusing and more overhead for purchasing lessons & blocks of time than it needed to be. I felt that a site dedicated to language learning would be a better fit.

So, I Googled for other options and decided to try Live Lingua based on reviews I read online. All were very positive.

Because of this site, I decided to give Live Lingua a shot, and so far, it's been a great experience.

It's been easy and purchase, schedule and jump in to classes that fit my schedule. I've only had about 5-6 hours of lessons so far, but feel that my skills have already sharply improved.

If you're interested in improving your Spanish, or any other language that they offer, you should absolutely give them a try!
