Liveperson is our solution provider for WhatsApp for over a year now. We're a big travel app, and receive over +1000 conversations daily and our experience with LivePerson has been smooth. In terms of software, our agents found it very easy to use. In terms of support, our account team has been extremely supportive and proactive. Livechat technical support have shown significant improvement over the year. What I like the most, besides the support, is LP's conversation builder, makes building chatbots, even complex ones, simple with the dropdown interface. The report builder is also great, helped our operations teams track their performance and pinpoint improvement opportunities. My only recommendation would be to spend more time on the data metrics definitions documentation and formula calculation explanation.
Really great
Really great, easy to use and provides a smart and effective tool for Live Chat on our website. Very adaptable and lots of integrations available. We are currently building our Chat Bot and are impressed with the capabilities.
The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because they do charge for every tiny thing - including monthly charges for licenses, which cannot be shared and are required for non-agent activities such as chat bots.
However I cannot fault the quality of the product and of the customer service provided by our contacts, so I would recommend them.

Overall its a good experience with LivePerson. My company has been using it since a decade now.. However, there are couple of reports which were good in LivePerson which in LiveEngage its chargeable. Like, login/logout time report. Also, we miss the feature where as an administrator, I can have option to logout a user if I want to. Certain reports and features are really great and meaningful. Support from Safeer is excellent, always available when needed. There are certain things which are out of his control and had to go to Tech department. Things within his control, he was knowledgeable to fix it.

Very robust platform
I'm not sure there is any messaging solution available that has more features than LivePerson. Their platform is very robust and would satisfy 95% of any business's messaging needs.
They do have some faults with outdated/unclear API documentation. Also, if you're a small to medium business you will have zero influence into feature requests. This is typical for any large SaaS, and shouldn't be a surprise.
