Extremely poor signage, God knows how a person with sight issues would manage here. Extremely overpriced drinks. Not enough toilets. I queued for almost 10 mins, I was lucky that a lovely lady (... See more

A jewel in Liverpool
Lovely venue, perfect size for touring bands, with excellent acoustics and delightful staff. Lots of interesting things here through the year along with regular performances by one of Britain's best orchestras.
Security is Outrageous worst experience…
Security is Outrageous worst experience ever was last year I was accused of something I denied was arrested manhandled by Police then after 25 minutes told venue wasn't making g a complaint but a year later as I was a Guest of a Performing Band Shalamar who are Amazing I was told am Barred for last year yet I have never received any Banning Order at all ruined my night and my Friends night as we couldn't go I am Disgusted with the Management and Security Firm who are Bullies also may I say last year it was 29th May 2022
A great venue ruined by drinks policy
I went to see Midge Ure last night and his performance was brilliant, however what should have been a really enjoyable evening was completely ruined by the people both in front and behind me who seemingly had gone there to drink and talk to their friends rather than actually watch the act. Then there is the constant stream of people getting up to go to the toilet beacause they've continued drinking during the show. What was wrong with the way things used to be when the bar was open before the show and at the interval but drinks were not allowed into the concert hall. I go to the academy frequently which is a standing only venue and there is more drinking there and the fans are much more boisterous however you can move away from any that get too much, when you are in an allocated seat like at the Phil it is impossible to do this. I can't imagine ever returning which is such a shame as it was always the best music venue in the City.
Exceptional Customer Service
I have always enjoyed my visits to the Phil. Sadly I was unwell and couldn't go to the Leo Sayer concert on Saturday 12th November.
The Phil box office managed to sell 2 of my 3 tickets and my refund was in my account the next day. What great service!

Excellent Sound Quality and nearby parking. Recently saw a Kim Wilde Concert, couldn't fault seating, sound or being able to see the stage. Smart and helpful staff.
No air conditioning on the hottest day ever in the uk
University graduation ceremony on the hottest day ever in the uk and absolutely no air conditioning whatsoever, so hot and humid near intolerable for a thousand people or more. Incompetent, criminal, dangerous.
Excellent experience we had during our…
Excellent experience we had during our stay in Liverpool! The programme included Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, and Saint-Saëns. The sound of the orchestra was soaring to that beautiful ceiling, filling the audience with glee and delight! The lady-conductor, soloists, and the orchestra received standing ovations after every piece of music performed. We can't wait to be back!
RLPO back in business with a stunning dvenjng.
Simply wonderful evening , last night. Superb programme under the electrifying direction of Case Scaglione. Difficult to believe it was his first time with the RLPO.
Pity about the ‘1840 Members’ Room’. Drab and crowded, this little piece of repurposed corridor is not a patch on the splendid public bar beneath! Buying drinks there will still support the orchestra whilst adding to the pleasure of the evening.
