Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 75 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. However, many customers express significant dissatisfaction with the service and product quality. Consumers frequently encounter issues with their orders, including incorrect or unadvertised items, and problems with medication dispensing. The delivery service is a major concern, with many experiencing delays, lost parcels, or issues with product condition upon arrival. Customer service is often described as poor, with reports of unresponsiveness, lack of follow-up, and difficulty resolving issues. Some people also felt that the company's reliance on specific couriers like Evri contributed to delivery problems and overall frustration. Additionally, several customers noted concerns regarding the outsourcing of services to Pharmacy2U, leading to further complications and dissatisfaction.

Disappointed. Very short (11 months) ‘use by’ date on Altruist SPF50 sun spray. Ordering and delivery service was good although default courier is Evri. I opted to pay a bit extra for Royal Mail.... See more

Great service

Great service from an online request/order. Submitted my details for medication yesterday, approved very quickly and dispatched the same day.
And they have arrived today; smooth process from start to finish and all sorted within 24 hours! Far quicker than trying to see my own GP currently.

Staff are rude and not very helpful…

Staff are rude and not very helpful these days, no idea why. Refusing to take cash payments, not having medication required in stock and not helpful regarding alternative pharmacy and when you do find another pharmacy for your medication they mess around sending required information.

Medicine in bottles broken during delivery

I am a lung transplant patient, I rung the pharmacy to ask them to package my glass medicines so they would not break during delivery by DPS. The bottles are broken, with sharp glass and liquid to clear up. This medicine is essential to prevent lung infection which can lead to death. This has happened before and no one will take responsibility for this, despite me ringing the Freeman delivery hub and the pharmacy before despatch.

Appalling online service

Appalling online service. Avoid.

Ordered two months ago. Terrible communication. Still haven't received. Getting a refund and will try elsewhere.

An absolute disaster

An absolute disaster. Prescription issued by consultant on 15 January and Lloyd’s at UHCW telephoned to offer home delivery on z22 January between 10.00 and 3.00 pm. I waited in all day but no delivery. Today I drove the 40 minute journey and waited 30 minutes to collect the medication. No reason given for. On delivery and no apology. Appalling service.

Terrible service

Terrible service, waiting over month for medication with no updates and zero communication. I will look at alternative pharmacies.

Beware of direct debit sign up

It was only a month after receiving my medication I found out I’d signed up to a monthly debit scheme of £38.95.
I only found out when I received a txt to say my account was being debited that day.
I was completely unaware of this and immediately cancelled but it was too late to stop this months debit and medication, which I didn’t require.
I’ve had medication from Lloyds in the past without having to sign up to anything.
I think it was sneaky and underhand and should be made more clear at the time of ordering.

Lloyds pharmacy CUH Croydon

Lloyds pharmacy CUH Croydon

Very upsetting. I have important medication, that must be enough to last out. It was to be 300 capsules. It has to be collected about twice a year. Very often there's a mess up.
They'd only dispense 100. The advice on the box was the wrong dosage. We were told that's all they'd been advised on dispensing and it was on their forms.
I'd already spoken to the pharmacy manager beforehand and it was all arranged. He had said he'd phone if there was a problem. But he didn't.

I'm just stating the facts. I'm an easygoing person but it is very stressful when it's taken a full week to arrange with the department and arrange collection: to then be given insufficient medication with incorrect dosage instructions.
Also please can you have full opening times on Saturday like a normal chemist?
Not two hours. It's completely ridiculous.

Awful experience

Delivery due on the Monday didn’t arrive. After spending £10 on 3 phone calls and sitting in que. They said they’d deliver on the Friday!! So again they weren’t delivered. Another day waiting in and more queuing on phone said they’d ring back , yep you guessed they didn’t! Rang again where’s my tablets. We will ring you back Nope they didn’t. So I’m to spend a weekend of more anxiety , knowing another £10 will be spent next week trying to get meds to stop this virus damaging my liver further! I’m going to tell the hospital that they need to change their courier. Bloody awful experience.

Home care remote training team

What a great service by the remote homecare training team. It was very well explained and the nurse was sympathetic in her ways.
I was really nervous at first as I've never injected myself before, but the way it was explained made it easy. Thank you for your help.

No prescription, no refund, no flexibility

Ordered a repeat prescription would not allow me to change collection to delivery when paying for order on the app.

Collection location only open working hours so made impossible to collect when did manage to collect order returned to sender called them to ask where prescription was, they told me there is no way to retrieve prescription or get refund. Also had no communication until I called them.

So now have no prescription, need to request new prescription from doctors and almost out because of poor user experience. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement! It if can’t trust them with my order or communicate where my prescription is then I can’t trust them with my prescriptions.

Zero* Useless company and zero customer service

Placed an order on Saturday, followed up on Tuesday and was told a 'glitch' meant it hadn't processed. I requested a refund as this was urgent meds for imminent travel. They have said the refund will take 5-7 days. So that is 2 weeks since I placed an order they can't fulfill and they claim they have no way to repay faster. It's really a great way to make money on all our unfulfilled orders just by holding onto our payents as long as they can. Customer service is a joke, I guess they pay peanuts.

Non delivery of Stelara injections.

Non delivery of Stelara injections.
I was contacted by Lloyds delivery service on a Monday and was informed the delivery would be the next day, Tuesday. - No show.
Rang on Thursday for an update eventually got through and was put on 'Hold' for 20 minutes.
Waited for 5 minutes gave it another try, went through the procedure - phone went dead after 10 minutes.
Really atrocious customer service - needs a good shake-up!
