Great course

I really enjoyed the first aid course, it was very informative and the man teaching delivered the course very well. It was a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The course was broken up well and the food provided was great. I don’t have any complaints and feel confident as a first aider at work.

The training and the Trainer were…First class

The training and the Trainer were excellent. I really cannot fault it. However, Tutorcare whilst being equally briliiant until I requested hard copies of the certificates. This took over 2 weeks despite the e certificates arriving within 2 hours of the course finishing.

Pressurised sales pitch, but too little attention to delivering a course for our needs.

This company provided a first class tutor for our course. However, she had not been briefed about the how we wanted the course to be tailored for our needs, and taking into account our mature years. She was able to respond and adapt the course appropriately after she arrived. I had made it clear to Tutorcare at least 6 times that we are a voluntary group, no Head Office, and with an age range of 60+.
I asked twice for an outline of the course, and was only sent it on the 3rd time of asking.
I would say that the company puts a lot of attention on bringing in business. I received lots of calls and messages to entice me to book a course. It's a shame that once booked, very little attention is made to ensure the course fits the group.
5* for the tutor, 3* for the sales team (too much pressure and contact), 2* for attention to detail for the planning of the course for our group.

The trainer was excellent

The trainer was excellent, he provided an informative, relevant well prepared course, a great deal was covered, but it felt like fun. All our staff said it was more like a staff day out, a real team building experience.

The Instructor was first class and came prepared. Sadly the paperwork for the training wasn't sent to us until the day before the training.

We booked the training some weeks before so there should have been no excuse for the late delivery of the supporting paperwork.

Difficulties over invoicing and …

Difficulties over invoicing and payment, too much emailing to me about payment when I had explained that the Deputy would be settling the invoice. Invoice then settled but still contacted about when I would be paying - it was sorted in the end but better booking and invoicing arrangements would improve the service, too automated I think. Actual training rated very highly by the staff so thank you for that.
