I strongly advise against using local intensive. Despite my daughter completing nearly 16-20 hours of lessons, the instructor refused to take her to her driving test the day before it was scheduled, insisting she needed more lessons. This was after initially saying she would only need eight lessons, yet would have completed ten additional lessons before the test, totalling two hours more than recommended, each at £100 per lesson. Keep in mind, she was learning in an automatic car and had already completed eight lessons with a different instructor prior to this but in a manual car. It’s clear they are more interested in extracting extra money for financial gain than in genuinely helping students. My daughter has lost hundreds of pounds, including the test fee and is understandably devastated. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company.
