Others that advertised loft packages .. but all of them increased the price once they quoted for the job properly. These guys weren’t the cheapest… but also didn’t miss the fact we already had a light in the loft and didn't try to charge us £90 for 4 battery operated ones!! They also extended the hatch and installed a wooden ladder instead of a steel one so actually, the prices were all compatible. Beware the cheap packages, you don’t get shelves and barely enough boards to put more than a few boxes in.

This is an easy firm to deal with. After the free survey, where the surveyor corrected my error on the type of loft support I needed, an installation appointment was booked. No deposit was required.

During the time between survey and installation the office team kept me updated on the installation date and process. About a week before installation they arranged for an early start and finish to avoid the worst of the heat that was forecast.

The installer arrived, on the hottest day in Morecambe, and proceeded to empty the loft - old unsafe loft boarding and other stuff left by the previous owner - into the skip. Then he started work installing the new subframe to support the new loft boarding and started putting down some of the loft insulation.

On day 2 the installers completed the loft insulation - to the current standards - then secured the loft boarding to the subframe. As per regulations the new boarding does not go to the edges of the eaves or rest on the roof rafters.

The installation team were polite, neat, careful and trustworthy. They cleaned up after themselves each day and left the property in good condition.

The loft space took 63sq meters of insulation and 240sq foot of new boarding. Their work is guaranteed for 10 years!

I would strongly recommend them.

This is a great company to do business with. They get the basics right like turning up when they say they will! The gentleman who came to do our survey was very helpful and went through our options with us. Once we decided what we wanted, he gave us an exact quote there and then. Once we accepted, he contacted his scheduling team there and then and we were able to accept a date for the work to be carried out within 2 weeks. The fitters turned up exactly when they were supposed to, took off their boots before coming into the house and fitted carpet protectors before starting any work. They were friendly and polite and kept us informed as the work progressed. The guys cleaned up everywhere and left us with no mess at all. We only parted with money after the job was completed to our satisfaction. I can't rate this firm highly enough and it would be so good if other firms could operate in this way. Will definitely recommend to family and friends

Communication prior to work being carried out was excellent. Workers were very efficient and friendly. They did a great job and cleaned after themselves. I would highly recommend them.
