Lollipops and Ladybirds is my favourite…

Lollipops and Ladybirds is my favourite business! I have gone to Ceri for almost 10 years. She is a wonderful lady, so caring and compassionate and loves what she does. We have had everything from them form baby prints to painting our own pottery as a family or with friends for adult night and we always have an amazing experience. Through lockdown we were able to collect paint at home kits which helped with all the craziness of that time. More recently we had a hand cast for my parents as my dad was end of life. It was all so quick and Ceri did a home visit as soon as she could. She treated Mum and Dad with such compassion. The love and care she took of that beautiful cast was amazing and means so much to us as a family.
All of the staff are wonderful. They all give 100%. I recommend Lollipops and Ladybirds a million percent. We love you! ❤️

I’m leaving this review because instead…

I’m leaving this review because instead of resolving my issue, Ceri blocked me on her business Facebook page — which says everything about her professionalism and who was actually in the wrong.

I contacted the shop about replacing the smashed glass on my bauble and was told I’d be contacted when the replacement arrived. At no point was I told I’d have to wait for a full allocation. If replacements were ordered, why wasn’t I allocated one? And if they weren’t, why wasn’t I offered one from that order after months of waiting?

I tried calling over six times before Christmas with no answer, so I went to the shop to avoid any more miscommunication. When I finally got through, I said I’d be there in five minutes — I was already driving there anyway — yet Ceri claimed this made her “anxious.” She wasn’t doing anything to help me, said the situation would “affect her Christmas,” and even made statements that simply weren’t true. What about my Christmas?

This isn’t the only issue I’ve had. My newborn’s hand and foot cast originally came in a frame that was in poor condition. When I raised it, I was made to feel petty and guilty. I eventually arranged a replacement with Ceri and again the frame was poor quality. I was also told my daughter’s hand was open for the bauble, yet the one I received was a closed hand — something I would never have known unless I questioned it. And I can’t even bring this up with the team because of how rude and unprofessional they’ve been.

All of this happened in front of my 6‑year‑old, while she walked away from me mid‑conversation and refused to help. I left upset, anxious, and feeling completely unwelcome. I didn’t even feel comfortable mentioning my tarnished necklace after how I was treated.

Blocking a customer instead of fixing the problem is not customer service. It’s avoidance, blame‑shifting, and unprofessionalism. Customers deserve far better.

Rude customer service, and very poor quality product.

Bought a mug for Father’s Day and found the customer service to be really rude — especially disappointing when this was a baby-related gift. There was no attentiveness at all. I left a Google review and received nothing but rudeness in response. I’ve tried calling to request a refund but had no reply. The design was also not accurate to what was discussed. Missing off 'Happy Father's Day' on the front.

The mug is covered in severe grazing and cracks after just one month, despite only ever being handwashed. For £19.50, I would expect far better quality — instead, it looks ready for the bin. This is particularly upsetting as it has my baby’s footprint on it, but the poor quality has completely spoiled it. As the other reviewer had noted, I seem to not be the only one to experience this and in my view, it is not acceptable quality by any normal standard.

Dissapointed

Had a hand and foot cast made of my 2 week old son, staff were lovely on the day. Long story short - very poor quality frame and it's damaged. Very rude attitude with me today when they called me back ( a week later after collecting and calling them over 100 times). I wanted to change the frame at my own cost before I knew it was damaged, I was then accused of damaging it myself. I was told it was an isolated incident, that no one had complained about the framing company they use in 12 years and that I wasn't happy with my product because I've compared it to another one I have by a different company.
Declined a partial refund so a new frame will cost me £70 elsewhere. I was told I was shown the frame in the shop but I was only ever shown colour options, it wasn't highlighted in full that's how it would look completely finished, it's closed with brown tape! It's terrible, substandard work for something that's cost me a lot of money. The casts are great but I wouldn't recommend the company now after the poor after care I've recieved. I was offered a repair on my frame but I declined, I wouldn't want it hung in my house at that poor standard and it would cost me more to go back to the shop two more times. I'd personally avoid now!
