I’m leaving this review because instead…
I’m leaving this review because instead of resolving my issue, Ceri blocked me on her business Facebook page — which says everything about her professionalism and who was actually in the wrong.
I contacted the shop about replacing the smashed glass on my bauble and was told I’d be contacted when the replacement arrived. At no point was I told I’d have to wait for a full allocation. If replacements were ordered, why wasn’t I allocated one? And if they weren’t, why wasn’t I offered one from that order after months of waiting?
I tried calling over six times before Christmas with no answer, so I went to the shop to avoid any more miscommunication. When I finally got through, I said I’d be there in five minutes — I was already driving there anyway — yet Ceri claimed this made her “anxious.” She wasn’t doing anything to help me, said the situation would “affect her Christmas,” and even made statements that simply weren’t true. What about my Christmas?
This isn’t the only issue I’ve had. My newborn’s hand and foot cast originally came in a frame that was in poor condition. When I raised it, I was made to feel petty and guilty. I eventually arranged a replacement with Ceri and again the frame was poor quality. I was also told my daughter’s hand was open for the bauble, yet the one I received was a closed hand — something I would never have known unless I questioned it. And I can’t even bring this up with the team because of how rude and unprofessional they’ve been.
All of this happened in front of my 6‑year‑old, while she walked away from me mid‑conversation and refused to help. I left upset, anxious, and feeling completely unwelcome. I didn’t even feel comfortable mentioning my tarnished necklace after how I was treated.
Blocking a customer instead of fixing the problem is not customer service. It’s avoidance, blame‑shifting, and unprofessionalism. Customers deserve far better.
