Take your time & money to a reputable training academy
I originally booked to commence the AutoCad Training course on Monday the 19th of August.
On the Friday before the Monday start, I was advised there was an “emergency” and that the course had to be pushed out by a whole 2 weeks. I was not impressed as it meant rearranging multiple things but I thought 'these things happened' so tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I turned up at the venue on the revised date - top floor of a building undergoing refurbishment. It has been converted into too many classrooms and it's a tight squeeze. I was first directed into the wrong class, then ushered into another... no one knew what was going on.
Stressed and rushing after work, I was one of only 2 students in this class.
That's when the real issues presented themselves.
The teacher was beyond over-familiar and kept asking personal questions that made me uncomfortable.
I asked to be moved to a Saturday class instead - which was not well received (and I thought I was being MORE than fair).
I was meant to start the Saturday sessions on the 5th of October, at 5:49PM on the Friday, I was emailed and advised 'due to an emergency, the session was cancelled'.
This was an entirely horrible experience and I would advise you to take your time and money elsewhere.
Additional response: I’m not sure how my marriage status, where I live, and family situations, heritage/background tie into business background questions. Also I didn’t say the classroom was congested but the place is temporary fixtures on top of each other.
