I enjoyed the dancing. Understood the bits of Spanish language used rather than the 'comic' cod Spanish accent of one character. Not all the speakers were clearly audible, while others were. A pleasant visit but not a play I'd want to see again.

Disappointing overall, though quite fun at times. But Shakespeare's blank verse was laboured, rushed and not very clearly annunciated by many characters, so hard to follow. Usually when the RSC or NT do Shakespeare the words are so well spoken that within 5-10 minutes you cease to be aware the characters are speaking in blank verse. I wouldn't recommend it. Hope for better when we go to Much ado about nothing.
We really enjoyed the play. It was very funny and well produced.
Excellent silly word-comedy for 90%, and then over-the-top great with shift in last minutes to World War I motif. Made sense of the Edwardian decor in a second!

The story line was confusing. The actors did their parts well. But the director seems to have taken license with the original tale and made it into something almost unrecognizable. If you want to see Shakesphere, this may not be for you.

Perfection! A great performance in all respects. Had not expected to enjoy it half as much.
While the language or Shakespeare can be intimidating, no one could fail to be charmed and delighted by this production, which is set in Edwardian times, against an Elizabethan backdrop. It is witty, fast-moving, often unexpected and highly entertaining.
Sensitive and thoughtful presentation of the play in the 20th century, enhanced by appropriate timely music rather than anachronistic lutes & viols.
The perfect way to finish a day out in London.Left in a wonderful mood, and as ever bowled over by the awesome RSC.
