An imaginative and impressive adaptation of a rather silly story. The use of Cornwall and WW 2 brought it to life and I enjoyed the modern use of actors as musicians and stage hands. Disappointed its ending so soon as I’d like to have recommended it to friends.

Brilliant! This is a different take from the film and was wonderfully brought to life by a fabulously talented cast of actors and musicians. Loved the fact all The music was played live on stage by the characters, and how they incorporated lots of different characters throughout the production to add depth to the story. Hope to see this one on tour in the future! Also lived the pickle crab pub! Lovely touch!
