We enjoyed the performance very much. Great actors, interesting stories, and good production. What was frustrating was the other audience members behaviour and enforcement of the rules not allowing people to return after they have left the performance.

We were in Row P in the stalls on the left hand side. There was a speaker just behind us. It was playing soft music throughout the production, to say it was distracting would be an understatement. Ruined the evening.

We first saw this play 2014 at the Wyndham. It was a lot more intimate there compared to the Harold Pinter. That said and done it is still a smashing play with absorbing performances from the 5 performers.

Very fine ensemble acting from a strong cast (led by Gleason) who played well of each other. A thought provoking script. Slow to get started but picked up sa the characters revealed themselves Unexpected;ly moving and engaging. Expensive but worth it. Seats firm but comfortable, a nice change to most West End theatres

ConorMcPherson is a master of dialogue and in”The Weir” this is shown together with superb and assured actin to the full.

The Weir is a masterful puece if story telling, it feels like an hour and forty five minutes of sitting in your favorite pub amongst friends listening to storys being told over a pint. The mix of characters reminds us of the variety of people and personalities you woukd find in any local pub and the acting makes you as the audience really feel the real raw emotion of the sadder moments. We very much enjoyed this fantastic play and recommend it highly.

Buying the cheapest seats in the house not surprisingly mars the view but in this day and age sounds systems should be up to the job wherever you are in the theatre.
