While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

No Voice, No Flexibility — Just a Penalty
My experience with the tribunal process was extremely disappointing.
I was visiting Hounslow and used a valid visitor permit, which was clearly displayed. Despite trying to follow the rules, I received a PCN due to a minor technical issue.
I appealed and asked for a hearing so I could explain, but the case was decided without me due to a misunderstanding about joining. I was never given the opportunity to speak.
The appeal and review were both rejected.
The process feels overly rigid and lacks common sense. Even when someone is clearly trying to comply, there seems to be no flexibility or discretion.
It leaves the impression that the system is more focused on enforcing penalties than delivering fair outcomes.
They are bribed and working for councils. Waste of time
Absolute waste of time. They work for local authorities and probably getting piece of cake LA gets for all illegal tickets they manage to get money for. And this sad and pathetic tribunal is helping them while they have their jobs. I got a ticket from council and pictures did not even show in same frame my car and apparent suspension sign. Because sign wasn’t there when i parked. Not even when he took the pics but was there 7 days before so council provided pics 7 days old for signage and my car with post next to it but each of 5 pics carefully avoided signage post next to it. Unbelievable. Not only that attendant after taking pics removed PCN (probably feeling like he is cheating) and I didn’t get ticket before it came in post over 2 months after as the notice to owner. And 2 adjudicators agreed that it was fine for council to give the ticket even though the signage was there 7 days before but no proof it was there on the day my car was there. I was to be psychic to know what was there. Total waste of time and they take councils side even before they read your appeal.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed! Disgraceful! My son drove to Uni to drop his belongings, for first time in London, paid for the Congestion Charge 6 hours late and he still received the penalty fee. We made an appeal with all the details and evidence including payment and the reasons why he couldn't pay it earlier. They didn't care, no emphaty, they rejected the appeal and made us to pay £180.00. But didn't even refunded the £17.50 we already paid. We paid £180.00 but we are not going to stop here.
Please don't waste precious time to make an appeal just write straight to Ombudsman. We all have to do it.
We all write bad reviews but they don't care. Their aim is collecting money as much as they can, without remorse.
I'm going to complain to Ombudsman anyway. I need a third party to get involved and check if everything was taken in consideration etc
