1000/10 experience.

I am really shocked to see the other reviews on this Wedding Shop.

I visited Love Me Do Brides on the 18/03/2026.
I cannot fault my experience in the shop, wide variety of different dresses. I felt comfortable the whole time and couldn’t fault the lady who looked after us.
I managed to find my dress, she was patient and understanding throughout. I didn’t feel rushed and as if I was in and out of one dress. I was able to try on different veils, hold flowers and I cannot recommend this shop more.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience at Love Me Do Brides and unfortunately would not recommend this shop.

When I first visited to try on dresses, I brought my three children and my maid of honour with me. This was clearly stated on the request form when booking the appointment, yet the lady at the shop seemed unhappy that we were there and commented that there were too many of us. Her attitude felt quite passive-aggressive, although she eventually allowed us to come in.

Once inside, the experience did not improve. My daughters were told off for looking at dresses and were instructed not to touch anything, which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. I was given dresses to try on by the assistant helping me, but we were not allowed to take any photos to compare the dresses afterwards, which is quite surprising for such an important purchase.

In the end, I was lucky enough to find a dress I loved, mainly thanks to my girls who looked through the shop’s website and noticed that the dress I liked was available in the store.

A few days later I returned to pay for the dress and arranged a pickup. When I came back to collect it, the experience was again disappointing. The lady at the shop was not welcoming and made us stand outside the shop in the cold. She appeared ready to pass my expensive dress through the door without offering any information about storage, seamstress recommendations, or cleaning instructions.
Overall, the experience was very disappointing. Choosing a wedding dress should feel special and memorable, but unfortunately my visit to this shop felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming from start to finish.

Awful experience

While the appointment started reasonably well, the experience quickly deteriorated and fell far below what I would expect from a bridal boutique. The shop itself appeared dirty and very messy. The changing room was extremely small, with no proper space to place personal belongings, which made getting changed uncomfortable and stressful.

We selected several dresses to try on, however I was simply handed the dresses and left to put them on myself, without any assistance or support. There was no conversation to help me feel comfortable or guided through the process, and no drinks were offered at any point, which is standard in most bridal appointments. Additionally, the stool provided for my guest was broken and nearly caused her to fall, which is a serious safety concern.

I was also surprised to be told that no photos were allowed, which is the first time I have ever experienced this while dress shopping. When I asked to try a veil with one of the dresses, I was refused and told this could only be done after choosing three main dresses and returning to decide on a veil later. This restriction was not explained clearly and felt unnecessary and confusing.

Furthermore, I was informed that dress shipment takes 8–9 months. When I asked where the dresses are shipped from, my question was ignored twice, which I found unprofessional and dismissive. To add to the discomfort, one of the older staff members behaved in a very rude and unwelcoming manner, repeatedly watching us in a way that made us feel as though we were suspected of doing something wrong.

Your website presents your boutique as elegant and high-end, however the reality of the shop and the service provided was completely different. The overall experience ruined what should have been a special and memorable moment for me as a bride.

I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend your shop based on this experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve your service, as no bride should feel this uncomfortable or unwelcome when choosing her wedding dress.

I bought 3 wedding dresses online

I bought 3 wedding dresses online. I received them on the 11 October this month. They were damaged. I emailed the same day to notify return. They received them on the 15th, that’s today. 4 days later.
They sent me an email saying I should send them courier to collect because they were returned late.
Tycoons.
Don’t buy from them. Read the other reviews and you will understand who you dealing with.

Very worrying that this person is still…

Very worrying that this person is still allowed to trade with so many poor reviews/experiences. Our unfortunate meeting with Sharon will always be fresh on our minds as it marked what should have been a very happy, joyous experience beware not all she seems!

Very disappointed

There isn’t a very good selection. In the Kingston branch and purchased a dress that was a compromise as felt pressured by the staff. Subsequently I found another at a shop with a far better range.

I hadn’t finished paying instalments in dress and it was still in the shop when I asked for a refund when they said no. I tried to discuss this but no one was available to

DON'T BUY ONLINE, YOU'LL BE SORRY IF YOU NEED A REFUND!

Basically bought 4 pairs of shoes online totalling £491.92 received 1pair direct from the shoe company and the other 3 came in one parcel from Love me do brides. Shoes we're unsuitable so brought them back into there Kingston shop for a refund on 22Feb14 thinking they'd refund my card straight away but the lady was nice and said it comes from head office she'll email them straight away and i should get it in the next few days. A week later no refund so chased up by calling their Walton on Thames store (head office) & was told they're in the process of doing it as the manager was on holiday! Im quite easy going so waited a few days later still no refund so called again & was told it can actually take UPTO 30days as per the website and told i should have it no later than 22 March14. so waited again 22March still no refund chased again & told Manager does it but she's not in until Wednesday 26March but gave me an email address for the manager to chase it. 24March still no refund called again and was told its gone through and sent me a ref no. but when i checked my bank it still hadn't been received. Manager then sent me email saying it can take a few days to go through. I received £464.12 £27.80 had been deducted £6.95 per shoe on 25Mar14 even though they came in 2 parcels not 4. I'm glad i eventually got most of my money back and won't be using them again. My opinion they didn't process the refund until the 24th Mar14 which was the date on the email that the transaction had gone through. My bank received it 25th Mar14. I won't be using them again - Will you?……….
