I used Microsoft Publisher exclusively…

I used Microsoft Publisher exclusively for newsletters, flyers, announcements. I began having trouble publishing my files to pdf and in fact spent 12-15 hours on the phone with their technical support, as I'm an Office 365 customer, and they still couldn't solve the problem. When Microsoft stopped supporting Publisher, I decided it was time to try something more reliable and supported. While there is definitely a learning curve with Lucidpress and I feel isolated at times trying to figure things out, it eventually crystallizes, and the end result is very professional looking.

I have used Lucidpress for my weekly newsletter as a fourth grade teacher. It is easy to add and remove boxed, but when you use the preformed backgrounds, you can easily just update each section as needed. Lucidpress has been a wonderful tool, and beats trying to do my own word document!

User Friendly

Lucidpress takes the hassle of learning Adobe InDesign. It is similar but much more user friendly.

I love even the limited Lucidpress and so does our printer.
He complimented me that my brochures are very beautiful.
I hope to upgrade in the near future --- when our budget allows.
Thank you for making the free version enough for a smaller ministry

Great all around MS Publisher…

Great all around MS Publisher alternative. I use this for making business cards, banner designs, flyers, etc. Being web-based makes it easier to work from different locations and share access with others. It can be quirky if you don't plan your design ahead of time before designing or if you are new to it but works very well for a great value and no contract plan.
