Absolute trash. They have 0 customer service, 0 technical knowledge, 0 ability to understand simple requests. My number port-in was rejected countless times due to their failure to fill out the reques... See more

4 hours and a Karen to set up
4 hours and a Karen to set up, followed by 3 months of no phone calls? My customers are all pissed and my friends and family think I am ignoring them?
Not worth it! Oh, and if that isn’t bad enough, they lock your phone number in so that you cannot access other services from providers that might do their job?!
They offer lower than other rates but…
They offer lower than other rates but you end up what you pay for. The network will crash or what they say is maintenance, and to get any tech support is impossible. If you want to to talk to someone from the company, it becomes a huge pain in the rear end. They try to have AI than a no good tech support nobody to try and help, which has never worked in my experience. They're plans are not even lower than the others. I'm done. Zero customer service broke the bank for me. It's almost like it's a company that is entirely ran by AI. If there's someone out there that works for them, what do you do and how much does it pay? I might apply since all they do is steal money
I SUGGEST Lucky Mobile START accepting payments from Mastercard Debit and not just Visa Debit! That's STUPID!
I went to go top up my account today with my NEW bank card from my NEW financial institution, and to my complete surprise, the automated lady says "your payment was declined". I thought, "Well.. I know there's money in my bank account, so I must've entered in a wrong number by accident or something.." So, I try it again.. and again, the same thing. So, I go onliine and check my bank account.. and sure enough!.. there's money in there. I call my bank.. and they tell me there's no restrictions on my account, everything is fine on their end, so it must be on Lucky Mobile's end. So, I go onto Lucky Mobile Chat Support. I tell the CSR what happened. He comes back and tells me, "It's b/c Lucky Mobile doesn't accept Mastercard Debit or Western Union payments.." So, I'm like, "Why the hell NOT?" And, he couldn't tell me. He was more concerned with profanity than he was my ACTUAL complaint! Does ANYBODY blame a customer for being upset about that..? Really!?? I think Lucky Mobile agents should be more concerned with the fact that I've been a paying customer for the last 4-YEARS, and won't ACCEPT my payment b/c my BANK opted to deal with Mastercard instead of VISA!! How is this my fault?? But I'm the one who's inconvenienced. That's F'd up bro!! As soon as I find another "pay-as-you-go" service provider that DOESN'T inconvenience me.. Guess what? Yup!.. you gotter..! Bye-bye Lucky.
LUCKY MOBILE doesn't accept Mastercard Debit Payments!
They don't accept Mastercard Debit as payment. So, in other words, u could have 1-million dollars in your bank account, and they wouldn't accept ur payment to top up! How stupid is THAT??! FU LUCKY!

Billed me three times after i cancelled my subscription with them, which is also not very easy to do.
AWFUL customer service/support
AWFUL customer service/support don’t use lucky mobile if you want good service. I’m 19 and drove into a city I didn’t know last night to visit a friend and suddenly my data stopped working. Even tho it was working 100% fine the hour beforehand. So I tried the app, and they were under maintenance, so I tried calling but the only way I could talk to a PERSON was to say my phone was lost. Then the First Lady I spoke to(Erika) fully just started to not speak and ignore me after telling me there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING she could do. So I hung up and called again and weird. I got a new agent😯. She tried to help by getting me to reset something on my phone but she said ultimately there’s nothing she can do and that she would call me back at 7am when their maintenance is over with. I got no call. So I’ve been trying to get ahold of a supervisor since 7 this morning when I woke up after being in a city I don’t know for four more hours, lost. Not even able to call my parents to help me out. The only number I could call was their support. Which was the worst support I’ve gotten. I requested a call. They said it would be 12 minutes. It was, the number called me back but I sat on hold for 15 mins. Now I’m on hold again go talk to a supervisor maybe? If they decide to.
I recommend ANYONE TO NOT GET LUCKY MOBILE.
Don’t get any help whatsoever from Erika either, she is a horrible customer support agent :) what kinda of customer support leave a 19 year old stranded in a city they don’t know, no way of getting home, no way to call any family. And she started IGNORING ME. Wow. Just wowwww
I’ve been waiting on hold to talk to a supervisor for another 15 minutes.
Unlucky
Terrible service on the phone front and on the support front.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Staff on the phone was unhelpful and very unclear with explanations of the details of the plan was asking about. Kept using jargon without explaining and made no effort to be understood. I was about the purchase 2 plans and will not use Lucky Mobile since that bad experience might foreshadow future hassle with that company.
Canadian Lucky Mobile SIM card issues
The customer service people were polite and helpful but the app and internet account were not good. First, the phone did not work for international calls to Australia (from Canada where I bought the SIM card) even though this was part of the plan I bought.
Second, not being able to login to my account on the internet or the app, I tried unsuccessfully to speak to a person to rectify the problem of cancelling the account, having returned to Australia. Eventually, I was able to speak to someone in the Canada Service Centre, when someone gave me a number to ring.
All this has cost me time and money.
I am unlikely to engage with Lucky Mobile again.

Vince at Lucky mobile is the best!
Vince at Lucky mobile who does customer care went above and beyond to solve my issue last night. Every interaction I have had with Lucky’s customer care team has always been exceptional. The plans are affordable and a good value for your money but honestly I’d stick with Lucky just because the employees are so patient and go to great lengths to help with whatever problem you may have.
THANK YOU VINCE 👍😃
And thank you to all the other amazing Lucky mobile employees too 😊
It's cheap for a reason
It's cheap for a reason - it's practically impossible to reach a human being for customer support.
These guys are scammers
These guys are scammers. They will purposely make their website bug so that when you try to get your money back they tell you their system isn't showing "anything" they stole 50$ from me and when I asked them to cancel the charges that were still pending BTW they said they couldn't so screw these scammers.
Tried 2 times to transfer my service to…
Tried 2 times to transfer my service to them. Spent time doing all that was asked for on app & website. Talked to their support. Unable to transfer my number to them. I never got the text from my actual provider and I called them. They never see a request to change…the duopoly of the big 2 in telecoms is a real joke in Canada. Cells and roads…lol
Lucky if it works
Lucky if it works! Prepare to spend many hours of your life on the phone with these guys trying to get your data to work if your phone will even connect at all! Even their fastest data will have you playing videos at 144 resolution and it still might buffer. The app doesn't work for any real customer service issues and the call center deals with multiple businesses do they don't know half the time either what to do. Switched back to my old provider and Lucky stole one more payment of 50$ from me. STAY AWAY. NIGHTMARE!!!
Called to get a pay per day or an add…
Called to get a pay per day or an add on , to hold my service for a few hours till I got to a store ...So very not happy ...they pretty much told me No we don't have that service ... i had money still on my account 5 cents short..Im switching to a real phone carrier!!
They’re Cheap For A Reason
I’ve only ever had to call customer support twice (so far).
First time my phone was stolen in a vehicle break in (2022) and with my old SIM now gone, transferring my account to the new one took over 8 hours. The issues then they had told me that I needed to go to a Lucky authorized retailer to get into my account for a reason I can’t recall, but I’m good friends with the manager of the store and he was confused to what he needed to do. Upon getting into my account he told me he couldn’t do anything that I couldn’t and he did try to change some things but my New Sim still wasn’t able to transfer.
So calling Lucky again after going to the store the guy that was “helping” me got audibly annoyed and literally hung up on me after explaining previous instructions was not working. The only reason I had not changed providers then was I had just gotten a “X” month data increase.
2nd call was just this week (July 2023), I had bought a new phone. According to Lucky’s site it is compatible with Lucky services but has the issue of not being able to call. The phone application itself doesn’t work, I can’t hear the phone ring or hear what the other person is saying while on their end is nothing but static feedback.
Given my first experience I was not looking forward to dealing with them again but through the text chat it didn’t seem so bad. The guy honestly seemed ok, I literally had no issues and was honestly surprised, after describing my issues and the potential solutions I’ve tried he had instructed me to try changing some of my settings.
Not only were the instructions he gave me for a different model of the phone, there were no settings labeled what he obviously copied/pasted from Google. After explaining to him that “that’s not my phone and I don’t have these settings” which I had previously mentioned which phone I had I was really confused to why he’d give me instructions for a phone that’s not it lol. That’s when the tone seemed to change and he just ended the chat.
Would never recommend using Lucky at all, at the time my “reward” seemed worth sticking around for but after this week nothing they give me is worth this lol. They’re cheap for a reason.
