I’d give less than 1* if offered

I’d give less than 1* if offered. My dad died Sept. 2024. June 2026 still waiting for final settlement. His trust was with hsbc and sold to Ludlow. Emails missed and unanswered until chased. Perpetual delays and procrastination. No one to complain to. Broken promises about communication. Avoid like the Ebola plague if you value your sanity. I honestly can’t think of 1 good thing to write about this company. 😕😡😕

Customer Service

We are still awaiting settlement of a trust that was sold to Ludlow from RBS.
Their communication is appalling .
Whilst they “delay” paying out, they will of course be taking a management fee.
I would not recommend this company to anyone from my experience to date .
The other companies involved in tying things up communicates regularly and explains if/why there are delays .

This company are a joke my dad died in…

This company are a joke my dad died in 1985 and setup the trust with the national Westminster bank which they sold it to ludlow trust. My brother and I are beneficiaries he being first and me after his death. So he died in 2023 and now it 2026 and still waiting they say its because of a IHT rebate and the lady dealing with it went on long term sick aswell so as you can imagine this has caused a big problem and im still waiting.
When my mother passed in 2014 natwest had it all wrapped up in 6 months to the day unlike this cowboy company. Avoid like the plague

Terrible experience......avoid Ludlow Trust

I am the beneficiary of a trust fund that matured when I was 21 years old. I won't go into the details but I have known this money was going to be paid out for several years now. It is now over two weeks since my 21st birthday and I am still no nearer getting any money. If my mum had not rang them the week of my birthday I would not even know how the process works. It feels like I am being left hanging on as they never call back and are very uncooperative. If you are thinking about investing I would seriously think twice. They tell you a bunch of fancy words about your funds being liquidised but it has already taken twice as long as they assured it would take. The case manage doesn't work Mondays and of course no one else can deal with my case when she is not at her desk. This has been a bad experience and we are no nearer getting the money we are entitled to.
