Found the saw heavier than expected compared to my other saws but really well build only a couple of niggles getting to the bottom clamp was awkward to start with because the plastic guard didn't open far enough for me to get in from where I was sitting. The other niggle was when tightning the top clamp found one of the bolts behind the clamp caught my finger so I just took it out and turned it round so instead of hitting the protruding part of the bolt it was the head of the bolt and it was no longer a problem. Apart from that I think it is a good machine and I am very pleased so far thanks

This saw is a vast improvement over my old Aldi work zone, as you would expect. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It is very heavy and it took 2 of us to get it out of the box, 1 to hold the box and 1 to lift the tool. It took no time at all to set up and do some test cuts. Everything was square enough for my use. I did not use the supplied blade just went straight to my own premium blades. The lift up arm is great for internal cuts and makes the process simple. Couple of minor niggles, 1) the blower did not work at first. I removed the bottom plate and could see that the silicone bellows had been pushed up into the top arm. Fiddled the bottom of the bellows back out and replaced the bottom plate to seal. Blower now works and produces a good draft to mover the dust away. 2) the bottom blade clamp seems to work lose slackening the tension, it has released the bottom of the blade twice. This may be pilot error as I am not used to this method of clamping, or may need some fettling, time will tell. Over all this is a great saw and well worth the money i'm glad I went for the 18 inch, and not the 22 inch, as it only just fits on my bench and is plenty big enough.
