Bought this for my nephews birthday his first powertool, to start off his tool collection for his first home. First thing that I noticed was the weight of the box , it is considerably heavier than the cheapo cheapo brands, so I assumed that it was made with more metal parts inside than the cheapo plastic ones, without taking it apart I am unable to confirm this. He couldn't wait to use it as he had a half finished project for his living room to be done. I warned him about not forcing the blade through the workpiece and let the saw do the work. Cutting through both 18mm and 25 mm wood and plywood. It were like a knife through butter. Yes I admit it were a brand new blade but it whizzed through the job much better than my high end jigsaw. Result the job is finished, big smile on my nephews face, bigger smile on his partner's face ( because the job was done) and I am the favourite uncle 😊 .
