Well the purchase was failry smooth however when logged into the LV account the detailes were incorrect by means that the main drier was my wife insteam of myself , all detailes were correct on the actual car policy bit not on the LV onlince account, it took several phones calls , waitied a very long time, tried the chat , eventually had a reply on the phone to be told there were notthing they could do , it was a online web site issue.

After someone drove into my car contacted LV and once I got through, they were helpful, polite and understanding. The repair was organised and car picked up as not drivable. Repairers got car repaired before their estimated time and did a fantastic job. Hire car was organised quickly. Overall so far a fantastic claim experience.

I had pet insurance with LV - I took my dog to the vet to remove a lump from under his eye (nothing serious) in April of this year. The insurance was taken out on 1st October 25 and because at the routine vaccinations appointment on 10th October and I mentioned it to the vet that my dog had a mark under his eye (it was not checked as my dog is anxious at the vets) this is now classed as an illness within the 14-day exclusion window. My claim was rejected. I only found out it was rejected today when I called to check the status. I just feel blindsided by something very innocent, and the lack of explanation is very poor. All I did was mention something to my vet and LV have used that as an illness that was not of concern to myself until 7 months later. Any excuse not to pay out, I am sure those working on claims probably get a bonus for finding a reason not to support customers. Poor service all round.
