I have been using Lyle & Scott products for a long time, but my recent experience with their customer service regarding a manufacturing defect was extremely disappointing.
I bought a brand-new Heat Reactive Shell Jacke, which is not a cheap buy, and a button fell off almost immediately. Since there were no spare buttons included with the tags, I contacted support simply asking to buy or receive a replacement button to maintain the original look of a premium item.
I provided everything they asked for: photos of the jacket, inner care labels, barcodes, and style codes. However, instead of providing a solution, the support team (Tracey) simply walked away from the problem. Because the item was purchased through a local marketplace (even though it was brand new and sealed), I was told to "ask the seller for a refund." This is a completely impractical suggestion for a private sale and felt like a brush-off.
I was ready to purchase the spare part myself, but the company offered no way to do so and essentially left me alone with a damaged product. As a result, I am now forced to use mismatched, non-original hardware because the brand refuses to support its own products once they leave an official store.
Great clothes, but if anything goes wrong, do not expect any help from their "Customer Care."
